Anyone Done Dolphin Encounter?

I have heard that the transportation to and from Paradise Island is sketchy. Some friends of mine chose to hang out on the beach for a while after their 10:30 a.m. Dolphin Swim, and ended up not being able to leave until 4 p.m. that afternoon. It was chilly on the beach, and not much fun, so it really blew the entire day for them. We are scheduled for a 1:00 pm Dolphin Swim in a few weeks, and just wondered if anyone could offer any info, comments or suggestions on the transportation issue. Thanks!

We just got back from the Dolphin Encounter and if I remember correctly the ferry returns to the ship at 2pm and 4pm.

When we went there wasn't anybody in the water because it was cold. My kids played in the water for a little while before we got on the 2pm ferry to go back to the ship.
