NEWBIE to Halloween Horror Need Help!!

Hey All!
You seem very knowledgeable about HHN so I have come to the right place!
I need advice..we have 4 twentysomethings coming down (the last weekend in Sept) for this event which we have never been to.. I read your suggestions and am getting the express pass thing..Someone touched upon parties being held..what's that about..is it at City Walk?
Anyone have any advice on what we should't miss when we are there?
I would love to hear about any experiences, suggestions and advice you all might have. We want to make the most of HHN and Universal!

I don't know about parties being held except the AP passholder party and that is in the park. Just go and have the time of your life. HHN is awesome!!

Go during the day and ride the rides. This event is going to be PACKED. You dont want to miss any of the houses or the shows. If you try to ride rides at night, you'll miss everything. Parties are not for you, only for the AP holders.
Like I said, go to the park during the day and do Stay and Scream.
