Hi
Me and mine can only allocate one day to either IOA or US.
We aren't sure which one we should go to, any suggestions? I have never been to Florida before, but DB has been to US before.
Also, what is the best way of purchasing tickets for either and Seaworld also.
Can we arrange something with our hotel, we are staying at CBR?
Thanx

If you're going during the off-season, you could do all the good stuff in both parks in one day. My sister came in to town yesterday and I took her. We were only there from 12:30 to 6, but we managed to do Shrek, The Mummy, Jaws, and Men in Black (3 times) at USO. Then we went to Islands and rode the Hulk, Dr. Doom, Spiderman, Jurassic Park River Adventure, The Flying Unicorn, both sides of the Dueling Dragons, The Cat in the Hat, and the new trolley ride in Dr. Suess that I've forgotten the name of. Granted, we didn't see any shows and we didn't do EVERYTHING, but we did everything we wanted to.
However, if trying to do both parks isn't your idea of a good time, I would say it depends on the personality of your group. ISO has more thrill rides (and height requirements if you're bringing kids). It has water rides and rollercoasters. USO has more stuff that everyone can do though because it is more about riding the movies than thrill rides. I enjoy both parks though, so I doubt you'd be disappointed at either one.

Thanx for the advice.
Ideally I would like to do both, because the Jaws ride and others look cool.
We have an allocated day on either 2nd or 3rd october, is this off-peak?

Yep, that would be considered off-peak. It should be fairly empty since it isn't a Halloween Horror Nights Day. Your day should be pretty much identical to mine and my sister's yesterday. If you get there early, you could do everything if you wanted. If you get there later, you'll have to be a little more selective like we were.

If I had to choose, I'd pick IoA. The combination of excellent thrill rides and theming makes it my favorite theme park.
As for buying tickets, I'd recommend going online and purchasing your tickets that way. You can do an E-ticket and print them at home, then you don't have to wait in line at the park. It may even may cheaper too. I know a while back, you could buy an adult ticket for sea world for the price of a child, but you had to purchase it in advance online.

Hmmm maybe we should try and do both then. We would get there early of course, want to get a whole days worth in :goodvibes
Thanx for all the advice. I know when I tried to see how much single tickets were I could only get 5day ticket thing. Can you get a combi of IoA and US?

I second Christysuelouise's advise and try to do both parks. We were at IOA on Thursday (9/20) and we walked right on most everything. We waited 15 min for the Hulk and 15 min for the Suess trolley, everything else was a 5 min wait or under. We were there from 10am - 3:00pm and did everything except Flying Unicorn because it was down. You could easily do both parks in one long day.

I think you'll be able to do both parks in 1 day, just as everyone else says. It'll be easy if you purchase an EP. We were able to do the highlights of both parks within one day, but we stayed on-site. Just make sure you do the following attractions:
IoA: Hulk, SpiderMan, Popeye, Dudley Do-Right, DD, Dr. Doom
USO: Shrek, Horror Make-Up Show (do NOT miss!), Mummy (ditto), Jaws, Twister, MIB
All you need is a little Mummy dust...:wizard:
and always listen to the homies!

We were there Labor Day weekend, and we did 2 parks in one day. We did pretty much everything in IOA except Posideon's Fury and then went over to US. We did Men In Black, ET, Mummy, Terminator, Horror Makeup Show that afternoon. And that was with riding MIB about 15 times, and eating lunch, and waiting under the midway games for about 45 minutes while it poured rain!
I think you can do both parks in one day and see the majority of attractions. Utilize the single rider lines at MIB and the Mummy and it will decrease your wait times.
