a good vacuum cleaner $100 or less? We have hard wood floors, so I am just vacuuming rugs.

Hey Dyan and I think the same way!!!
I have an iron.. it's a door stop in the basement! :)
I have all wood floors... so I just use my swiffer on them!!! I take my rugs out and beat them like the olden days... and toss them in the wash!!! (I don't have any big ones so they are easy to do)..

Yeah, I 've got some big heavy rugs so taking them outside would be pretty funny to see! :rotfl:

I can't help you with your question because we have the mack daddy of vacuums - a Dyson. DH is OBSESSED with vacuum cleaners. He would buy the extended warranty at Best Buy and bring the vacuum cleaner back every year or so, upgrading to the next model every time until we had the top of the line (and until Best Buy shut him off on returns!) He's insane. The thing looks like it belongs on the space shuttle, but it is a really good machine. We have all hardwood floors too, but with the cat, we're constantly vacuuming. Little Lucky is a Messy Marvin when it comes to his litter box. Sometimes I think he shovels litter over the side intentionally just because he loves the sound of the vacuum!

Yeah, my "dream" vacuum would be a Dyson, just not in the budget at the moment. Perhaps if I stopped buying Cricut cartridges  .... nah, not gonna happen!!

My vaccumm was more than 100 when we got it but maybe it has gone down since then.... I really like it... but what the heck make and model is it. I'll try to remember to look next time I am up. I realize I soundlike a lazy bum, but I have been put on bed rest and I am not even sure I should be sitting at the computer, but it has been a few days since I dised and I was curious what you all were doing :)

No worries- take care of yourself and the baby!! It's just a vacuum...and it sounds like I need to give up vacuuming. :lmao:

It is a Hoover wind tunnel bagless. I see ones similar online for about 150.00
