Use year with add-ons

I think I've read here that when you add on, you get the same use year as your original contract. Is this correct? We bought VWL in November 2001 with an April use year. If we add on 130 points at BCV next month, will the use year be April?

Yes, unless you add-on 150 points or more, they will retain the same use year. An add-on of 150 points or more can be written up as a new contract.
