Thinking about DVC....

With all the money we spend on our yearly trips, we're thinking of DVC! I'm a bit unclear about one thing......if our home resort is AKV (for example), how would I "add on" points if CRV becomes a reality? Would I get first dibs as a current DVC member? How does purchasing point add ons work? TIA for any help!!!

Once you are a member you can add on for as many as 25 points at a time at any of the DVC resorts that have points available. Members are usually given some sort of early pre-sale bonus or option to buy at new resorts, though that varies.

Adding on to another resort is actually very easy and often done with a quick call to your guide and papers in the mail. So easy in fact that many DVC owners often get add-on-itis :) Good luck with your decision
