I am sure this something every self-respecting DISer knows, but how many posts must one have before being allowed to post pics?? I am not yet allowed, and, though far from impressive, my post count is not too terribly pathetic (at least for me). :rolleyes1

Can anyone help me out on this???

attachments and pictures are different. If you press the box that loks like a landscape. The second one from the right. A box will pop up and you can put the URL of the picture in there and press ok.

See if that works.

No one is allowed to attach pictures. You can post a link to a photo sharing site where your image is located.

Posting photos is a different thing from attachments. Noone is ever allowed to post attachments (that is how viruses spread). But you can post photos, you just have to have them hosted by another site and then linked here.

Here is a link to the FAQ thread on the Tech Board. It has a lot of the "how to's" for things like this step by step. They suggest using the DIS photo hosting, but alot of people also use outside places like www.photobucket.com.

If you have problems let me know and I will see if I can help. It only took me 3 years on the DIS to learn!
