Greatest thing about Vero?

We are leaving Friday for Vero. What did you think was the greatest thing about Vero?

The beauty of the resort. Looking out over the ocean -- especially at sunrise and at night (a full moon is fantastic). :)

The peacefulness. It's quiet, relaxing, easy going, nice slower pace. It's a special time to get closer to the family.

Try an evening or more in the Green Cabin Room, they have milkshakes and games like Candyland for the kids, its the most kid friendly bar with live entertainment I've ever seen. Check out the Gator rolls for a snack.

We are glad for all these comments on VB, thats why we are looking forward to our first trip this June. We bought "sight unseen", and for the reasons that were mentioned above!!!!!:D

What we like best about Vero is everything! We were there for New year's and it exceeded our expectations -- so much so that we bought more points there. The resort is beautiful. The activiities for kids are great. The staff is very nice. The food we had at the resort restaurant was great. The surrounding area is not touristy at all -- much more residential with condos and homes. Everything you might need -- grocery stores, drug stores, outlet shopping, lots of restaurants and more -- are a short drive from the resort.

The beach can be accessed by walking a short distance on the resort itself, unlike HH which has its beach in a location separate from the resort. The resort itself is surrounded by lush tropical greenery, and your oceanfront view can be of the top of the plantings and then the ocean water. We were on the second floor of the resort in an oceanfront inn room and that was our view. If you get an upper floor of the non-inn building where the 1-bed, 2-bed and studios are, you'll have the same view. I saw such 1-beds while I was there, and that's where we'll try to stay next.

We've owned beach property off and on for years, and what we like about Vero is we now get the beach vacation without the work of maintaining a beach home, plus the amenities of the resort. We'll be there every year at least, and hopefully more often. :)

The free smaples of orange juice at Hales Groves. Then after you drink 5 or 6 of those babies you can take a whole gallon back to your Villa..........................Perfect............ ....................

The greatest thing about VB is watching the sunrise from your ocean view INN room.
It is so beautiful to sit and watch and hear the ocean and know that while we love Disney they just cant compete with what God makes.

yes, that free orange juice is great...but don't forget the grapefruit juice too!!!

we enjoyed everthing about Vero. The activities they have planned are great. DS (11) loved the archery and balloon toss on the lawn. The pool area is wonderful, and the mini golf an added bonus....you'll love it, have a great trip!
