Movie party custom invite ideas

I posted this on the scrapbooking forum but thought I would post here also. I like to do custom invites for my dds bday parties. Last year I did a chef party and did a laminated recipe card invite with a rolling pin attached with red bow.........year before was boxes from container store that had horse pics with facts all over and a little horse on the inside along with party details. This year it is at the movie theatre. Do you all have any ideas? I am stuck with this one. I would appreciate any ideas you may have. thanks so much!!!

when you say its movie theater theme do you mean a bunch of people are coming to the house and its going to be set up like a movie theater or what?

if so heres some ideas...

go to walmart and pick up the 88 cent boxes of candy and right all the party info on the back of it. good candy for a cheap price. i like the new reese peices (probably didn't spell that right)

we have a candle store in the mall that sells popcorn scent spary. if you have a store like that you should make little fake cut outs of popcorn and spray them....mmm popcorn

my other ideas are not food related...haha

make a 'coming soon' poster by taking a pic of your DD or just pasting her head on her favorite movie cover. if that's a little to much time/ink make up movie tickets with the party info

I was thinking kind of on the same line - food invite -

Make a candybar wrapper with all the information on it and your dd's picture on the front or how about the little single serve microwave popcorn bags with a wrapper on it with all the information on it.

Non-food idea - what about a little statue - like the Oscar with all the info on a card attached to the statue.

Movie Ticket Invitation, make sure you have a red carpet up your walk and they can feel famous, before having to turn in their 'ticket' at the entrance. All info can be on the 'ticket'

Or if you want to make it more of a 'red carpet' movie event make the tickets and put VIP or something on them and laminate them and put them on lanyards so they have 'credentials'

The round movie theatre FILM CASES would be cute you put the Ticket INSIDE of one of these. On the outside you can 'title' the movie with whatever the even is :

"So and Sos Big Bash"
