I'm just looking for an approximate.
We would need a car for 10 days in Orlando. A nice mid size one. Any Ideas? Anyone?

Last November our total rental through EA was $205. That included a coupon for one free day. I'm not sure what prices are looking like that same time this year.

I just checked Dollar Rent a Car at Orlando Airport (MCO) and the price for a mid size Dodge Stratus, using FVG rate code, is about $341 for 10 days including tax, no insurance. If you wanted a full size, Dodge Intrepid at Dollar, $369 with tax. I used a July date, the price may be different depending on when you plan to be in Orlando. The on site car rental agencies at MCO are Avis, Dollar, Budget, National and L&M. There are others off site at the airport, so you would need to take a shuttle to get to them. Hope this helps.

Rates are very high right now.

Last Nov/Dec my rate was $180 for a full size car for 10 days at National with EA and I used my Disney Club discount and a $20 coupon.

It's not looking like I'll get anything close to that this year!

I got a full size EA in June at National for $210/ten days. I used Disney Club discount and $20 entertainment book coupon. However, I booked this about 4 months ago.

If you belong to the Disney Club there are two coupons on their site for National- one day free with weekend rental and a % off coupon also. Used both last with no problems and what I saved paid for our membership for 2 yrs.:p

I just reserved our 10-day rental for our June/July trip. We need to pick up the car from MCO and return it to FLL (Fort Lauderdale), as we're flying into Orlando, driving down the coast to visit relatives in Miami and flying out of FLL. I booked a full size car through National for the 6/22-7/3 period using the Disney Club contract discount (20% off base rental price) + the current Disney Club coupon (free weekend day), and the total comes to $288.81 (that's $223.64 subtotal + surcharges & taxes). This was the best price I could find amongst all the reputable car rental agencies (using whatever discount codes I could obtain) -- the other places' prices did not even come close. Until we depart, I plan to keep checking online to see if rates drop (either at National or elsewhere) and rebook if necessary.
