We had dinner last night at O'Hana. We weren't seated in the main area which I think detracted from the overall experience. The food was okay in my opinion. I found the steak to be extremely fatty, something that I just can't stomach. The turkey was fantastic and by far the best meat served. It was just okay in my opinion.
Today we had lunch at LeCellier which was outstanding. It got a A+++ in my opinion. The service was great, the atmosphere was great and the food was incredible!! I now understand what all the fuss was about and am so glad I was able to at least get a lunch ADR. Our server told us the menu switched over as of today so the dessert was all vanilla creme brule, far and away my favorite dessert. My daughter was at the KidCot stop when I checked in and they said they would come get us there when the table was ready. Everyone in the restaurant was great. Our table was ready in about 5 mins and we got a nice quite table in the corner so we didn't have that right on top of you feel that some of the tables have. My husband can be a picky eater and he was raving about his filet. So to any of you trying to get in here, keep at it!!! They were turning people away over and over.

Glad you liked LeCellier. We love it. And I have had the filet twice and it has been perfect both times!

Glad to hear it was good, we have lunch ADR's next month.
What switched on the menu, are you saying the dessert options changed?

There didn't seem to be any drastic menu changes. Honestly I didn't notice anything was different until she was clearing the dessert dishes. I'm not much help!! Looks like the menu was updated on AllEars as of 8/07 so that may provide better info then my memory can.

I hope they changed desserts I don't like maple flavor so if it's vanilla brulee I'll be happy!!

The did, the maple creme brulee is no longer on the menu. It is now plain vanilla and the most delicious dessert I had the whole trip!! Can't wait to return to have it again.

Does the DDP allow you to choose whatever you want from the menu? We have ressies at Le Cellier.:woohoo:

I had creme brulee at Concourse or at least a taste of DGD. That child is still talking about it she loved it so I'm happy it's vanilla creme and not maple

We ate at 'Ohana a few weeks ago and we weren't seated in the main part and that ruined it for us too. The kids sounded like they were having fun, but my kids wouldn't get up to see what was going on. If we were in the main part, they might have joined in and had fun too. We had to wait so long for our ADR that I forgot to request a table in the main part.
The food was nothing to rave about and I don't think I would go back.
On the other hand, Le Cellier was wonderful and I loved my filet. We have ADRs for November and the only thing that might prevent me from keeping it was that we didn't like watching the clock for our ADRS and also that since we will be paying OOP, it's expensive. We'll see when the day comes I guess.

We'll see when the day comes I guess. I agree with you 100%. We had to cut short our time at TL because of a 4:00 ADR at San Angel Inn that I couldn't change. We didn't want to risk having no where to eat dinner (well, there is always somewhere, but we like a sit down meal for dinner) so we hightailed it. It would have been nice to have some leeway with the seating times which is making me think twice about returning during the free DDP - if one returns next year.

Does that mean they don't have the chocolate moose for dessert anymore? Hoping they do. Thanks in advance.

Le Cellier is fabulous! :) I agree that not being seated in the main part at Ohana's is the pits. This happened to us when we ate there.
