That would be Aurra Sing. She only appears briefly in the Episode I film. She has a bigger role in some of the novels. :)

I don't have any pictures, but I do have an awesome character story...

When I was little, I went to WDW with my mom and dad. It was the early 80's in the off season, so crowds were super low and they didn't have the characters stationed like they do now. My dad went into the bathroom while mom and I waited outside. Pooh/Piglet/Eeyore/Tigger (i think all four) decided to scare him. They followed him and waited right outside the bathroom door. When he walked out they all jumped out at him and scared the pants off him! He yelled and jumped a mile and it was hilarious. I wish they could still just wander around and do fun stuff. That doesn't seem to happen much anymore.

This is from our 2005 trip at Thanksgiving. DS HATES Splash Mountain so he and DH went to ride his favorite, BTMRR. DD and I :love: SM so we hopped on that. When we got off a Photo CM pulled us aside and asked if we wanted to go to the front of the line and ride again...we said "SURE" not knowing what was coming next. She pulled B'rer Bear and B'rer Rabbitt from around the corner and said, "Let's go Ride"!!! :woohoo:

It was so much fun, she kept pointing out places in the story and saying "remeber when you did that B'rer Bear". It was very cool. And then at then at the end they bought our picture for us, and signed a certificate of a magical moment! :wizard:

There is a picture for this story but it was unfortunately taken pre-digital camera. Anyway when DD daughter was 7 (she's now 17), she was determined to believe that our waiter at CRT was Gaston. After all BatB was and still is her favorite disney movie and the guy's resemblance was uncanny. She went so far as to get her picture with him and even got "Gaston's" autograph! I'm sure this made the man's day as much as it did my daughter's :goodvibes

My favorite picture is predigital cameras. We were eating at Trail's end at Christmas when Mickey walked up to our table. My then 18 month old was awestruck and would not eat. She just stared at Mickey until Mickey picked up a spoon and started feeding her.
She is now 25 years old.

Okay, so this next picture the character isn't doing anythign crazy, but my DD3 loves June. I mean LOOOOOOVES June, and this picture the look of adoration on DD3's face is so intense it's almost painful. After that June had DD3 walk her to the backstage exit, and it was so sweet. Here is my DS3 with Donald Duck. My DS had a small Light Saber and a stick that he picked up from the Magic Kingdom (We had to take the stick with us everywhere and bring it home. Needless to say it was the cheepest souvenior he's ever gotten) Anyway, Donald took both the stick and Light Saber and looked at both of them and gave the stick back to my son and pretended to have a Light Saber duel with him.

I'm so slow when it comes to capturing "the" moment but this was just after it happened at least. Dh had never had a character encounter and was more than a little surprised when The Beast walked by him and then suddenly stopped and put his face about 1 inch away from dh's...as if to challenge him. What made it even funnier to me was that we were there for our anniversary and dh was on a call from work. Later I told dh the Beast was just trying to tell him not to let work interfere with our romantic getaway- and that he probably should listen.....

I think Disneyland needs to send their characters to DisneyWorld to see how it is done! I have very few "fun" pics of characters at D-land. In fact, it is hard to come by characters unless you are on Main Street or Toontown!!

The character connection was in the spot behind the Fountainview cafe, but it was not heavily advertised, very simple decorations. We caught Chip and Dale out in the hallway, there was nobody else around, and they played with my boys for several minutes. the picture is fuzzy cause I had taken their pic, and put the camera down, and then just grabbed it back up.

The new Character spot is waaaaaaaaaaay more crowded, no chance to play around like this.

That's because the old one had the windows blocked up. No one knew the characters were in there. Now, with the windows unblocked, anyone can look in and see that they are in there. I do wish it had not changed.

Since it reopened, that is probably the best time to go there- at opening. Otherwise, the lines can get extremely long.

The pics on here are great. I had two other great experiences last year - one where Jafar tried to run off with me, twice...and one where Captain Jack tried to steal my Pirates watch...but none of my party managed to get a photo of either event :-( I love it when the characters play!

My husband and I went and ate at Garden Grill last March and were having great interactions with the characters since it really wasn't crowded at all.

I collect autographs and Pluto came around and started flipping through my book. I have my address in the front and he started pointing REALLY excitedly to our city! I asked him if he knew where we lived and he nodded very quickly, we figured out he "had been there"! :goodvibes

He kept coming around and dancing for us, sitting down at our table and finally we got these pictures...

We had the best character interaction ever at the Garden Grill!!!
Before our trip, I had some bows custom made of Chip and Dale... here is a pic of them:

We had a late dinner so it wasn't crowded and towards the end I had the only kids in the joint! My DD decided to give her bows away to chip n dale (this is why in the video her hair is a wreck)
We had all 4 characters at our table for a good 20 minutes ... pulling jokes and acting silly... we ended up in a food fight!!!! :rotfl:

I video taped most of it but the whole video is too large of a fle to upload. I did choose a small section of it to upload and share. It's still a large file but really funny! My daughter is USUALLY not so loud but she was having a BLAST!

We met this CM last month. I actually recognized him from this thread. I cant remember his name at the moment (note to self, start taking pics of their nametags) He was one of the best ones we ran into. He was escorting Marie (the cat) in France. We have met this cast member too. We were having breakfast at the princess story book breakfast when I felt a tap on my shoulder, I turned around and looked up thinking it was a regular sized person. Well let me just tell you I almost messed myself when I turned around and I was eye to eye with this cast member.. My daughter couldn't stop laughing at me because I let out a little gasp.. He thought it was quite humorous too. I think he did it on purpose. OK so it was kinda funny but he kept coming back to our table over and over and over just to say "hi" it ended up giving me a little creeped out feeling. Not because of his height just because he kept stalking our table...

Slow day at work, so I've been going through the thread looking at pic. I don't have many (any) of my own, I don't get a lot of character pics. Most of my interaction has been without a camera ready.

Haven't seen this one posted, if I missed it I apologize. Last year I went to DL for the first time. This isn't really rare, since I'm sure he does it often. . . but we'd seen the mountain climbers out a few times while passing the Matterhorn. On the last morning, we were walking up Main Street and I commented, "Oh look! The mountainclimbers are back out!" and decided to take a pic since I hadn't yet. When I zoomed in I realized that it wasn't just ANY mountain climber. . .

When I was at DL in 2005, while Mickey was climbing, Goofy and Minnie were putting on a little show. Mickey would be in it then climb and Goofy and Minnie entertained the crowd. I thought it was so cool to see! :)

Here is a series from a trip to Goofy's Kitchen.

My DD suddenly got up and ran to a door (we were sitting near the back door where the characters come in and out) and we had no idea why she just got up and ran from her set.

Turns out Pluto was trying to get in and couldn't open the door, so DD opened it for her. He chased her to the table and we had some cute interactions with him.

The Camp Minnie-Mickey and Character Landing ones I was chosen as the First Family of the Day for (so it was Magical Moments for both). The Star Wars ones, the princess one, and Villians one I did wait for. The Princess and Villians ones were group shots (picture only, no autographs). I met them at DHS (the princesses at the Hat, and the Villians were supposed to be at the Hat, but were moved to the front of the park). For the Luke/Leia one, Luke and Leia were meeting together after the 11am parade, and R2-D2 came out 15 minutes later, so it was lucky timing (however, during the morning they meet seperately). And for the other one, they were meeting together the first day of SWW. However, now they are meeting seperately. It is Mickey, then Donald/Goofy, then finally Minnie.

This is my all time fave pic of my son with a character. He loves Pinocchio and this was his first time meeting him. Pinocchio got down with him and stayed that way for a good 4-5 minutes. It was the best and really made our day to see this. I swear ds just looked at him totally amazed for the longest time.

What a neat thread! I love character interactions. I'm sure I have several, but this is the first one that comes to mind. I'll have to search for the others.

This was in Jan at Epcot. DS had fallen asleep and Aladdin and Genie had a good time messing with him.

Anyone ever seen Rosie the Cleaning Lady?

This was taken last September. We had our anniversary buttons on, and when she spotted us walking by she yelled out to us. She sang "Happy Anniversary" (Flintstones style) VERY loudly, and when we asked for a picture, she planted a kiss on my DH's face. As I was laughing at him, she snuck one in on me too! :rotfl:

We had those red lipstick prints on our faces for most of the day.

These are so cute! My friend and I went to Six Flags this weekend and were inspired to stage some cute interaction with the characters. They weren't nearly as fun as Disney characters!
