View Full Version : alternative to garden grocer?!!

Hi all:

I just sat down to place my order for groceries and discovered that garden grocer is completely booked for next weekend! That was a really stupid mistake on my part--I had no idea they booked up their delivery slots.

So--does anyone have any alternative suggestions? I really wanted to get water and needed to gallon of milk in our room for our toddler. We will have to live without the other snacks, etc., I guess.

Are there other grocery delivery services? I had only read the reviews of gardengrocer on here.

I know I can order bottled water tomorrow, but I am not sure about the milk. We are flying and had not rented a car (which is seeming like a colossal mistake now).

Thanks -- Stacey (feeling slightly panicked!!)

www.wegoshop.com I've emailed her, and she will be my "backup". Her site/system is not as easy as GG (no online aisles, you have to list everything with sizes you want her to get.). But she seems very friendly and willing to work with customers. Good LUck

Assuming you're staying on site, you can also purchase milk and water in your resort's gift shop.

Gooding's (www.goodings.com) is a local supermarket that delivers. I've used them twice and was completely satisfied each time.

We've used WeGoShop for our last two visits and were very pleased with them. I would recommend them to anyone.

Thanks for your replies. I am such a dingbat that after way overplanning this trip I somehow failed to notice the detail about calling WAY ahead to place my grocery order with these services. In the end, I bought a Brita pitcher and water bottles and are packing snacks in our luggage. Live and learn!
