Lost my card...UPDATE 1st post

I lost my DVC card - I think it was accidentally thrown away (and it was the one I had just received after changing my name). I called when I booked BWV and they said it's going to take 4-6 weeks to get my new card. It barely took 2 weeks to get the card when I changed my name. :confused3 Anyone have any experience with this? Will it really take 4-6 weeks?

10/27: We received our new cars in the mail yesterday. I'm so relieved to see it was within the 4-6 week window!

It took about 6 weeks to receive my membership card. But mine was an original, though I don't think that would make a difference.

mine replacement card only took a few weeks, until i received mine i just used my DH, he doesnt make the ressies anyways :rotfl:

We were staying with friends a couple years ago - just after we had bought into dvc - had not yet received our member cards - so we went to the preview center @ssr and they printed us temp member cards while we waited. Perhaps the folks there can still do the same thing.

Okay, that's it!!! Someone is sneaking into our houses and stealing our membership cards! I noticed, just last week, that mine disappeared out of my "trip wallet" in my desk. No one has seen it anywhere.

Who could be doing this to us?!?!?! I want my card back.

I guess I'll be making the phone call to Member Services to see about getting another one as well...

I should call MS and check the status. They should be able to tell me if it's shipped or not. Worse case scenario, I will look into getting a temp card printed when I'm at WDW in December.

You mean to tell me there's a card bandit out there looking for the DVC cards?? :rotfl:
