Thanks for the link. I'm LOL. Obviously, the person who started the thread hasn't encountered enough CMs who disseminate incorrect info. Usually, it's harmless, but in this case, it has really upset someone enough to make them change their reservations.

Of course, maybe WDW *is* handing over all of its closed resorts to DVC!;) In that case, I may have to be prepared to eat my words!!!

I wouldn't worry too much. This appears to be only a rumor As I told someone in chat last night. I went to the Disney website last night and it is allowing me to book a room at POFQ in October. Well since last night, a TA friend of mine has confirmed that POFQ is not closing, they are just not accepting reservations until after October 1st.

When we were down a couple weeks ago, the bus drivers were talking about the fact that they were opening up 2 more buildings at PO the first week of Feb. and that they were filled through Feb.
