Anyone else had this problem?
I logged in (2 months ago) and added all details, i.e where we wanted to seat etc. meals and so on.
When i went to check everything today and tried to log on, i couldn't get in? all i got was the following:
'We were unable to locate your flights based on your Flying Club number.
Please note that if your tickets have not been issued yet you will not be able to view the details of your booking.
Note that if your tickets have not been issued yet you will not be able to view the details of your booking.'
I go in 2 months and now in a panic somethings not right?

If you are on the VS027 you need to call VA as they have changed the time of the flight to 11.15am, once you call and confirm the change all details will be restored.

Hi
I had similar problem some time back this year, I wasn't using my Flying Club number but I was using the Virgin Holidays booking ref, eventually I got to speak to a someone at a call centre who gave me a flight booking ref, Two letters, 2 numbers, a letter and a final number. Do you have a flight booking number?
Very frustrating I know and getting through to the call centre was like pulling teeth! I am sure everything is OK with your booking it's just Virgin like keeping things 'secret', we had a nightmare trying to do online check in last year too when we went to NY.
Sure it will all work out, sorry I can't be more help!

But i already did that 2 months ago because they changed the flight time, so have they changed it again. They are doing my head in.
Yes I have the number as you stated as i phoned them concerned 3 months ago as i couldn't get in and they gave me this number.
Don't say i have to phone them again, it too ages to get through last time. Plus it was difficult getting my self understood.

Just another thing, why don't they let people know if flight times have changed.
If they have changed, does that mean i have to re-book where we are sitting or will this be the same.

Hi Donna, they have changed the time of some flights so you should call them with your booking ref number,Once you have done that your details should reapear on the system just as they were before and you shouldnt need to change anything.
Very anoying isnt it but hang in there and just think about the great trip ahead :thumbsup2

I am not sure why you cannot get access.
When I checked, it gave me access and at the top of the page told me that the flight times had changed, once i confirmed that I had read the change it let me into the bookings.
Is you booking with VH or Virgin atlantic?
As has been said, if you are on a VA VS27 flight from (I think) end of October, then the departure time has been reset to 11:15 instead of 10:45.
All your deatails will not have been changed, its a quirk of the Virgin system that it uses this as a way of informing you of flight changes.
The update was supposed to have changed that. It has in my case, the people going with us and the extra person going with us. All bookings had the flight time change page before bookings. :confused3

Thanks everyone, Panic over.
Phoned up, got answered right away (Total shock) and told them my problem and he did something on his computer and said you should be able to get in now. Which i can do and everything is fine, flight is the same time as i thought.
Thanks again

Jeanette,
the flight is very full, only eight single seats in Economy one in PE and 4 in UC.
Whilst the seat plan may not be there, you should still be able to look at your seat assignments. If you go to update booking, click on teh flight details, then click on passenger details it will give you each passengers seats.

I'm on the VS027 on 25th October and it just says 10.45 as the time. Should the time have changed, or is it changing after my flight date?

I have the same message phoned Flying club but they couldn't find my booking and was told to phone VH to get a locator number maybe we're not on their system yet as not going until next august.

My mate works at Virgin and he said they can only legally amend reservations before travel has started if they booked direct with the airline. A schedule change is deemed an amendment so for anyone who has booked with Virgin Holidays or a travel agent, must have the change made in the system they use. Its something about taking over ownership of the reservation and if Virgin made the change it would lock out the people who booked it for you. I was told the message on the Virgin Website which tells you the flight has changed and then allows you to acknowledge it, is just for people who have booked direct due to the above. I'm reliably imformed though that the Website will soon do what it can and at least tell you your reservation has a schedule change and for you to contact your travel agent.
Cheers
