View Full Version : We won a room upgrade at Contemporary!

We checked into Comtemporary Resort on 9/11 and as we were waiting to check in this really nice lady who worked there was chatting with people in line. We talked about the hotel and crowd levels. Then it was my turn to check in. Everything seemed normal, then the lady I'd been chatting with tapped me on the shoulder as she walked past and said not to leave after we checked in and she wanted to tell me some more about the resort. I thought that was nice as we'd never been to CR. She comes back and I hear this music and she says "This is all for you!". There's about 4 people with balloons and a certificate that says we are Family Of The Day! They upgraded our room to a Tower Room with a Magic Kingdom view! :love: This room is so beautiful!!! We got our picture taken and their signs in the hotel listed us as Family Of The Day. Later that night we came back to our room to find a plate with Mickey shaped chocolates and a chocolate box with the CR logo. Also a copy of the picture they'd taken of us upon check in. We are absolutely loving our stay here.

I've always heard the tower rooms with the MK view are awesome! What a wonderful way to start your trip!! :wizard:

Congrats. We stayed in a tower room with view of the castle when our boys were 4 and 2 (they are now 21 and 19) on an upgrade and it was wonderful. Enjoy!

I should also mention what you won is not apart of the Year Of A Million Dreams. The Contemporary has been choosing the family of the day for many years, so I would say what you got was an extra surprise on top of the Year Of A Million Dreams celebration.
