Autograph Book Question?

Can you buy autograph books in the resort gift shops? What price range are they? Do they come with a pen? I saw a couple of cute ones on ebay for boys. I have a boy that will be almost 10. Any other info that would help?

The Disney autograph books about $6-7 dollars. The pens are extra. The first year I didn't buy their books but found the ones we brought with us kept having pages tear out easily. We now buy their books but still by FAT pens at the dollar store, etc before we leave home.

Totally agree with buying fat pens. We bought the pens with Mickey ears @ Pop and the some of the characters had a very difficult time holding them.

There are lots of autograph books available but why not make your own? I've read a lot of posts about kids losing interest in a book full of autographs over the years - but this way you would have the photos with them so they would be enjoyed for much longer.

Buy a normal 6x4 photo album - there's loads of disney ones around. Then take a stack of 6x4 cardstock (blank or decorated) on a mini clipboard to the parks for the characters to sign.

When you get home insert the cardstock with the signature in the photo album with the related photo on the facing page.

I bought mine off of ebay because I figured it would be cheaper than the gift shops I got to disney and was so mad I actually spent more on ebay then if I would have just bought them in the gift shop.

I love the one I bought at Disney- my son is 7 and he was so excited to get autographs. The book we bought when open- the left side has a plastic sleeve to hold a picture of your little one with Mickey or whoever then on the right is where they sign. When we got home I filled his book with the picture to match the autographs. My son loves showing people his book with the pictures.

You can buy them in Magic Kingdom and yo u can buy a pen to go with it.
