Now this is what you can post in public, not what you've done as the ole saying goes "in the privacy of your own living room" or in our case our campsite/RV:rotfl2:
I'll start it off and I'm a HUGE Fly Fishing Fan and over the years have caught my share of large mouth bass at WDW in the canals. I've sort of gotten away from it in the last 10 years or so especially since I think the canal behind the 1600 loop leading to the GC has one monster Alligator gar that has taken like 5 hand made "poppers" from me. The best fishing is IMHO around the GC, but they will chase you off citing safety concerns, but below is a pic of a large mouth I caught just over the bridge on the above mentioned canal back in the mid to late 1990's

Now as I get close to drawing my SS compliments of the goverment I have graduated to the following which for now I won't elaborate on. :lmao: :thumbsup2

Yes that still involves a Fly Rod, but it's strapped to the handle of an old "sports umbrella" pole.
Let's hear what your "UNUSUAL" activities at the Fort are. :dance3:

We like to take our golf cart by where the boy scouts camp and do donuts in the big dirt parking lot. I don't know if that is unusual, but it sure is fun.

Our favorite pasttime at the Fort is "looping" in our golf cart & chatting/meeting other campers!!!
I'll be on the look-out for "Tree-Fishin' Larry" from now on, though!!
Or maybe he's part of the new "tree removal crew"!! :lmao: :rotfl2:

Sometimes the most simple things in life can be very special, very enjoyable. We love all the of the parks, but I can honestly say that just taking it easy at the Fort, walking our dogs, meeting other Disney campers is what really brings us back almost every year since our first trip from Texas in 2000. We have been twice in May and it was great but our other trips were in December and man we are hooked on the Christmas cheer in the Fort! The best thing for me is to get out about midnight, very quietly, and loop all over in the golf cart with my video camera and still camera and really take in all the awesome decorated campsites. For us, that is what makes Fort Wilderness so unique and so special. Now our daughter and son-in-law are expecting our first grandbaby, so man, things will only get better! Maybe in a few years I may say that the campfire program is my favorite thing to do.
