BCV reservation question

If I book at BCV in March for a trip in November using my BCV points, can I switch the reservation at the 7 month window to have DVC use my banked Boardwalk Villas points? Or do I have to try and book at the 7 month window with my BWV points and then cancel the BCV reservation that I made in March?

MS can switch to the BWV points at 7 months if there is availability, but usually, they will not reallocate the points, as that would be unfair to members on the wait list for that resort.

You'll need to "compete" with other members for the dates at 7 months.
