The Crew:

Me:29
DH:31
DS1:13
DS2:11

Our trip was earlier this year: Feb 3-10 and so dining was not free :guilty:.

Well, anyway here is the rating system:

:earsboy: = bad, wouldn't eat here again
:earsboy: :earsboy: = not too good, edible though
:earsboy: :earsboy: :earsboy: = good, will return again
:earsboy: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsboy: = great, definitely will eat here again
:earsboy: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsboy: = fantastic, a must-do every time!

DAY 1: POP & more POP!

So, we'll start with our first day. Since our flight was a little later than we usually fly (8 am as opposed to 6 am) we decided to just eat at the airport. Bad idea! We got to our gate and settled in and then decided to hunt down the McDonalds but it wasn't in our terminal! We had no way of getting to the other terminal without going all through security again. We had just settled on Snickers, Cheetos and Cokes when I suggested we walk a little further down. JACKPOT!:woohoo: I found a coffee shop with a small bakery window case in back. I got a muffin, DH got a danish, DS1 got a scone and DS2 got a giant chocolate chip cookie. It was so expensive! $14 for 4 pastries and bottled water! This is Dallas, not Disney!

We walked all the way back to our gate and sat down, ready to devour our treasures. Unfortunately, they must have been yesterday's treasure, they were hard as rocks and DS1's scone fell apart before our eyes. It was too far to walk back and seating had begun, so we choked down the stonebread and boarded. Those free flight granola bars were starting to sound better and better. Suprisingly, they didn't offer us granola bars, but instead some small shortbread cookies. "No thanks, I already had my fill of hard, tan food."

We get to MCO and are starving! Okay, we just got to get to POP and everybody will be fed and happy. I'm worried. Have you ever been around 3 hungry men? So we get to the line for Disney's Maniacal Express and wait. I can hear DH's stomach growling. Did it just call my name? I keep reassuring everybody, "It only takes about 20 minutes to get to POP. We'll eat as soon as we check-in."

Finally, we're on the bus and on the road. What's going on? An accident? Up ahead? The buses were stopped. Our bus driver and a Mears driver were fighting to get into the next lane. We were stopped for 40 minutes and the natives were getting hungry! We finally pass the wreck and see 6 firemen with shovels and a large freshly dug hump on the ground. There's also a car with a giant dent in the grill and hood. "What's going on?"

"Oh, I think I know." Usually when a motorist has hit a wild animal, the police/firemen just bury it (if it's dead). That must have been what happened.

Anyway, we get to POP, check-in and EAT! We didn't even find our room first. DH went straight to the Pasta Counter and ordered his favorite: Chicken Alfredo with Penne. I got the same, but sub'd marinara for the Alfredo, so it was more of Chicken Parmesan. DS1 got the meatball sub and DS2 got his favorite: pepperoni pizza. (Note: you will see DS2 get this about 6-7 more times before the week is over, so no flames please, he only does this at WDW). I am not a bad mother, don't call CPS on me.

Sorry, we were so hungry, we didn't think about using the camera for this meal.

We headed to Downtown Disney for the day and DS2 got a Nestle Ice Cream Cookie sandwich from one of the carts.

We got back to POP just in time for one of Mom's TV Dinners. DS2 and I each got one of the Fried Chicken TV Dinners. DS1 got a plate of penne with alfredo (no chicken) and DH got a Double Cheeseburger with fries. For dessert, DS1 got a strawberry shake and I got a Mickey Rice Krispy treat.

POP was (as usual) great! We love eating at their food court. We've never had bad service or food in the 3 times we've stayed here.
So, I'll give them: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsboy:

Before, I begin reporting about the second day, let's back up a little. For some reason, after every plane ride DH gets sick. The first and second times this happened, I thought it was just a coincidence, but now I'm convinced it's the flights. First, his ears are plugged up for the rest of the day, so I have to yell for him to hear me. Then his sinuses start acting up. Well, that's what happened. He started to feel bad at DD (the previous evening) and just got worse from there.

So, after I got off the phone with Stitch telling me to "Wake Up!" I quickly told everyone to get dressed for the park. DH moaned but did not move. That's pretty normal so I didn't worry. But soon we were all ready to go and he was still in bed. After repeatedly calling his name (and loudly in case his ears were still plugged) he emerged from under the blanket with this, "I can't go anywhere, I'm sick. I can't even move, my whole body hurts."

"What! But it's our first day in the park, you can't be sick."
"Y'all go on. I'll meet up with you later." Okay, this is a joke. You can't be telling me to go to WDW without you. It's our anniversary trip. This is what I was thinking, but what I said was "Okay, I'll see you later."

So off me and the kids went to catch the bus for Magic Kingdom. We went straight to the Main Street Bakery. We had been thinking about this place for almost a year. Never having eaten here for breakfast, we were quite surprised by the length of the line. We got in the line (which extended beyond the front door) outside. I got a Krisy Kreme (that was still warm), DS1 got an apple turnover (this is huge) and DS2 ordered a chocolate chip cookie. As we were in the line, I could see the workers getting my donut and putting it on my tray. Then, just as they were bringing it to the front counter, one of the girls put a giant cookie (about 8-inches in diameter) on my tray. I thought, Oh no, I'm not paying for that thing. It's probably about $10, they must've misunderstood. I only wanted a regular cookie.

I got up to the counter to get my tray and only got out the words, "I didn't..." when the cashier said, "On behalf of Walt Disney World and The Year of a Million Dreams Dream Patrol, we'd like to present you with this giant cookie." I couldn't believe it! We had only been in the park for 10 minutes and had gotten awarded one of the dreams! DS2 was so excited! And the cookie was sooo good. It was real moist like one of the cookie cakes in the mall. We ate off of it for about 3 days.

I give Main Street Bakery: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsboy: It's a must on every trip!

:rotfl: :rotfl: It's amazing how differently kids eat on vacation, isn't it?

Wanted to let you know that taking an allergy/sinus pill as you are getting on a flight can help TREMENDOUSLY if you get ear blockages. My DH flies alot and it used to happen all the time. Now he takes a tylenol sinus before each flight and no issues since he's been doing this.
We spent a day in Rome with him unable to hear and man, was he miserable.

love the reviews so far!

We had a ADR at Liberty Tree Tavern for 1:30, so we head over to Liberty Square at about 1 pm. I see a line out the front door and down the steps, but I bypass them all because I have an ADR, only to find out that this line is for people with an ADR! So me and the boys head outside and get at the end. While we're in line, DS2 says he can hear a voice coming from my backpack. Huh! Wait a minute, it's my walkie-talkie. It's Dad! "Hey Babe, I'm here. Where are you?" Just then I see DH coming down the walkway looking for us. He made it! We start waving him down. He looks miserable. We get to the counter to check-in and DS2 tells the girl that it's our anniversary. She smiles and tells us to have a seat. We find a bench near the fireplace and in about 10 minutes they call us.

When we got to our table there was glittery confetti, spelling out a "J" and "L" with a heart in the middle. Good thing DH made it, that'd be kind of silly me sitting there alone. We had a very nice waitress that promptly took our drink and food orders. I ordered the Pilgrim's Feast: turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes with gravy. DS1 ordered the Angus Burger with bacon and provolone and a vanilla shake. DS2 ordered the kid's cheese pizza and chocolate milk. DH couldn't taste so he only ate a dinner roll and had a glass of tea.

The Pilgrim's Feast was fabulous! The turkey was moist. The stuffing was the best stuffing I've ever had in my whole life! Don't ask about the green beans, I consider them garnish. The potatoes and gravy were fantastic too. I'm forever ruined for future Thanksgivings. DS1 could only eat half his burger because it was so huge! You'd have to share this one. DS2 really liked the pizza but that's not saying much. He'll eat pizza anywhere. His pizza came on a Mickey-shaped plate with carrots and cinnamon apples. The rolls were the only thing we didn't care for, they were cold and hard. It was impossible to spread the butter on them.

I so wanted to order the shortcake dessert but was much to full. So I didn't. I talked DH into going back to the room to rest and start fresh tomorrow. Me and the kids would go on without him. We asked for a doggie-bag for him to take the Angus burger in case he ever got hungry later.

I give LTT my highest rating because I think about eating there at least once a week and more often now that Thanksgiving's on its way.

For dinner we hit Casey's Corner, they have the best fries in all "The World"! DS1 got the 1/4 lb. beef hot dog. By the way, here at home, we've found that the Hebrew National hot dogs have the same flavor. Anyways, I got the corn dog nuggets and we both got fries with cups of cheese for dipping. We walked over to Tomorrowland and DS2 got a Turkey Leg from The Lunching Pad. DS1 wanted a pretzel filled with cream cheese. I tasted it. The cream cheese wasn't that sweet, it was okay. We were going to stay for the fireworks but I really wanted to wait for DH to be there with us, so we headed "home". I picked up a bowl of grapes and a Powerade for DH from POP (and a Rice Krispy Treat for myself). DS2 still had plenty of that giant cookie left in the room. When I got to the room, I found DH tearing into that leftover Angus Burger while watching THE SUPER BOWL! :happytv: We still tease him about playing "hookie" at WDW! Looks like tomorrow will be a better day!

With DH not feeling 100% yet, we decided to spend the day at Disney's West End and use our free admission to Disney Quest (we'd never been there). It also gave us a chance to use our $15 Planet Hollywood voucher we got with our package. We had been to Planet Hollywood the year before and although the atmosphere is fun, I found the food quite bland. I had ordered (with high hopes) the chicken strips. So did the kids and none of us liked them.

So I was hoping this year would be different. Sadly, I was mistaken. Since DH wasn't quite that hungry, we decided to share the Turkey Club. DS1 ordered a Tuscan Chicken Sandwich w/fries and DS2 ordered the $8 Kid's Cheese Pizza (big surprise)!

Question: With all the money Planet Hollywood rakes in on their overpriced meals, don't you think they could afford some lightbulbs? Why is it always so dark in there? I mean, they got so much great memorabilia but you just can't see it!

Anyways, back to the food. Well, the Turkey Club was very bland. And the bread was toasted...possibly the day before. Have you ever left toast on the counter for a few hours? This was the exact texture. You could break a tooth on it. You get 6 double-stacked (the picture only shows 3) triangles and fries (enough for two people without tastebuds).

DS1's Sandwich looked good though. It was a grilled chicken breast with provolone and lettuce. It also had some sort of green stuff (I think it might have been pesto) spread on the bun. He said it was okay.

DS2 didn't care for his pizza. He said it tasted like plain old tomato sauce.

So that's twice we've been disappointed. We wouldn't have gone here except for the fact that DS1 is a major film-buff (and we had that $15 voucher).

So I give them: :earsboy: :earsboy:

We spent the day at Disney Quest, which was tons of fun. DH didn't get on everything, he was still a little queasy  but he did do some of the virtual helmet rides. They loved it! I rode the Aladdin Magic Carpet ride but the helmet kept slipping off my head. So I watched the boys do some virtual reality super hero one where they killed bad guys with light sabers. It was actually very funny watching them. A bunch of people with giant helmets strapped with wires swinging around unlit flashlights.:lmao:

We especially loved the Pirates of the Caribbean game. And the Buzz Bumper Cars were fun. Except when DH and DS2 kept shooting balls at us and we spun uncontrollably. So not cool!:sad2:

Well, we headed back "home" for dinner. At "Everything POP", DS1 got a cheeseburger and side of cheesy fries. Wait till you see the pic, the cheese was the color of Mickey's shoes! DH got Shrimp Lo Mein. It was a little chilly and I was really craving some soup, so I told DH to order me a bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup while I took DS2 to get a pepperoni pizza. WAIT A MINUTE! BACK UP THE DISNEY BUS! How many pizzas has DS1 eaten?! Oh my gosh! :scared1: I am a bad mother!!:sad1: I swear I didn't realize it at the time! That darn carefree feeling Disney World gives you!:confused3

So, anyways, I get to the table and dig into my hot bowl of soup and what is that flavor? This doesn't taste like chicken noodle soup? Well, since it came from the Asian Counter (which also serves nachos and sloppy joes), it was some kind of Chinese Chicken Soup. It just needed a few eggs dropped in it. I don't think I found any actual chicken in it. It was mostly fillled with cabbage and mushrooms (my nemesis). I didn't like it, it was sooo salty and bitter. So I went back and got me an order of chicken strips (which were hot and crispy and tasty) and shared some of DS1's fries and yellow stuff. DH really liked the Shrimp Lo Mein. I tasted the noodles they were pretty good, although I'm not fond of shrimp. DS2 was (as usual) very happy with his pizza.

For dessert, DH got a Snickers bar, DS1 got some Sour Gummy Worms and DS2 still had that giant cookie to finish off.

I was very delighted to get my $5 bag of Mickey Turtles. They are so wonderfully chocolatey and delicious! My mouth waters just thinking about them. I know everyone gets one of those giant turtles from the candy shops for like $4, but I'm very happy with my pre-packaged Mickey Turtles. Besides, I can keep them in the room and eat them for days while I watch The Disney Channel or The Disney Channel or The Disney Channel...Hey, is this TV broken?

I give POP: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsboy:

Today, DH was feeling much better so we head out early to MGM. We got in just in time for the rope drop. After the little "Hollywood Skit" we headed straight to the ABC Commissary for breakfast. It was practically empty! Does anyone know about this place? I guess because it's kind of hidden away and looks closed. They have some great ABC show memorabilia. We saw Charlie's checkered Airwalk tennis shoes (from Lost) and some other really cool stuff. They have a great affordable breakfast and it's a big place. DH and I each ordered the Adult Eggs Platter. You get a lot of food for only $5.99. DS1 ordered the Biscuits and Gravy and a Cherry Danish. DS2 got the Adult Pancake Meal and a side of Hash Browns. Everything was fantastic! The service was fast. And we were so full! The hashbrowns were especially yummy.

ABC Commissary is definitely a do-again for breakfast!

When we were finished eating breakfast, we made our way to the Big Hat just in time to see High School Musical. :cheer2: It was sooo crowded! We left there and did some touring. We did quite a bit before our late lunch reservation at Sci-Fi.

We were seated in one of the first cars in front of the screen and kind of had to wrench our necks up to see the previews of far-fetched scenario B-movies. popcorn:: They're so funny, it's hard to believe people paid to see them (or even make them)! With all the high-tech computer imaging in movies nowadays, the boys really get a kick out of their low quality camera tricks. :rotfl:

We had a great waiter, Tony. He had the look and accent of any guy you'd meet from Brooklyn, he was a lot of fun. DH and I both ordered the Coca-Cola basted Ribs Plate. It comes with a small salad (just iceberg lettuce), slab of ribs and fries. DS1 ordered the kids cheeseburger, fries and Coke float. And DS2 ordered the kids cheese pizza (Oh, no!) with a chocolate shake. DH and I both got Cherry Sprites. And we had them add the glow-in-the-dark ice cubes for the kids. They make a great souvenir. We still have ours and use them every now and then (when we're missing WDW).

The ribs are good, not great, but good. The flavor is good, but the meat is not really that tender. You can tell by the picture (look for the part without sauce). We come from Texas and are a little picky when it comes to BBQ. The fries are dry and tasteless. The salad was pretty bland and you could do without it. One time we asked to sub the salad for fruit and it was pretty bland too, not sweet at all. DS1 and DS2 both said they're food was on the "okay". I didn't get a pic of theirs, but I think you know what a cheeseburger and cheese pizza look like. If not, just check out any one of the other days that I've posted. But they do love the shakes. We mostly come here for the great atmosphere, not the food. Maybe next time we should just come for a sit-down dessert.

DH and I were wearing our free "Anniversary" pins we got at the Town Hall on Main Street in MK and Tony must have noticed because after we finished our plates, he brought out a sundae with 2 spoons. He also gave us a certificate.
The sundae was delicious! I don't know what kind of ice cream that was but it was soooo good! And I'm not one to eat vanilla ice cream. The fudge was warm and gooey and sweet.

I think everyone should eat here at least once because of the drive-in theme but a place for a great meal, it is not. So, I'll give it:

We finished off the day with Fantasmic! We snacked on popcorn and cotton candy. I had one of those frozen chocolate covered bananas, they are really good! DS2 had a Turkey Leg during the show. The rest of us decided to wait until we got back "home" (POP).

Back at POP, DS1 got just a Hot Dog (without any sides) and DH got a Chicken Strips Basket. I got Chicken Strips only and bought a bag of Cheetos. For it being that late at night, everything was hot and fresh.

POP does it again:

On our fifth day, we decided to have a light breakfast because we wanted to save our appetite for lunch at Whispering Canyon Cafe. So DH and DS1 each had a Bacon, Egg & Cheese Croissant from POP. DS2 only wanted a banana:banana: . I got a bowl of Frosted Flakes with milk and a banana.

We stayed at "home" and the boys swam while I did some laundry. Then we got ready and headed out to MK. We caught the boat to the Wilderness Lodge. I thought it was going to be a short ride. Boy, was I wrong! It is a very looong boat ride from MK. I feel bad for the tired people that are trying to get back to their hotel at night. And it doesn't hold that many, unless they sardine-pack them like they do us on the busses.:grouphug:

We finally got to the lodge and were starving. I went up to the counter and was told we were too early and we had to wait. The place was practically empty! We waited about 10 minutes before they called us. We got seated by "Uncle Dave". He was a very loud and fun waiter. His voice reminded me of Jerry Lewis, "Laaaadyyyyy!"

He told "Sport" and "Sparky" not to cause any trouble. Then he returned with our drinks and threw our straws and napkins all over the table. The boys thought he was great! DH didn't know what to think. I had to go to the bathroom but was scared, he might come back and embarrass me. A waitress on the next table got the smaller kids to ride hobby-horses while we waived our napkins over our heads.

DS1 ordered the Rancher Rick Nachos, they were: 2 kinds of tortilla chips covered with meat, beans and cheese. And he also got an orange shake (I tasted it, it was good, like a creamsicle).

DH and I both ordered the Canyon Skillet (that's the whole reason we came )and iced teas.

DS2 got the (I'm afraid to look) Kid's Canyon Skillet! YESSS!:woohoo: with a side of cut-up watermelon and a chocolate shake. By the way, the shakes are bottomless, so you can get as many refills as you want.:cool1:

The skillet was huge! Uncle Dave brought it out and placed it on the giant "Lazy Susan" in the middle of the table. It had BBQ ribs, chicken and sausage. The sides were melt-in-your-mouth mashed potatoes, bbq baked beans, corn on the cob and sweet cornbread. (We in the South love sweet cornbread.) Everything was delicious! DH had dived in immediately when Uncle Dave came around and said, "Slow down, Hoover. There's plenty more."

We laughed so hard. You should have seen DH!:rotfl: I kept teasing him. But then I got my own nickname. Uncle Dave came by to bring more napkins just as I was spooning the beans onto my plate and yelled to the front desk, "You might want to call the Mercantile and tell them to stock up on some Beano, cause I think 'GASSY' is gonna need some!" I was about to die!

DH and the boys laughed hysterically!:rotfl: They love to tell that story to everyone we meet. :rotfl2:

Well, the food was sooo good that Uncle Dave had to refill our trough, I mean skillet. We didn't need more sides, just more ribs and chicken. They were so good and tender. I'm not much for sausage links, but I tried them and they were good, DH mostly ate them. DS2 really liked the chicken. DS1 said his nachos were very good, nothing like Mexican-style nachos but he still liked them very much and plans on ordering them again next time. They each refilled their shakes once. We ordered a refill of tea and got, well Super-Sized! You've got to see the picture. Uncle Dave brought us out an 18-inch tall jar of tea with a 2-foot straw! He just set it on our table and left! We didn't know what to do and were afraid to ask, so DH just used it to refill our small jars.

We were sooo stuffed when we left there, we didn't even want to think about dessert.:sad2:

I definitely think that Whispering Canyon is a must.:thumbsup2

We spent the rest of the day at MK walking off the Skillet. No one was hungry for a long time, so we ate when we got back to POP. We ordered 2 of the Chicken Penne Alfredo plates. One for DH and the other for DS1 and me to share. We added an extra Garlic Bread Stick. DS2 got (what else?!) a pepperoni pizza.:confused3

Sorry, no pics.

As usual, POP delivered. Hot and fresh and ready to go. Just wished the lines to pay were shorter.

It sounds like you had a fun experience too!! We had a blast as well! And loved the yummy pics! I am seriously thinking of changing my ressie from Concourse Steakhouse to WCC, my DD really did enjoy it there. Loved hearing the story, thanks for sharing!

Great report! I think "Uncle Dave" used to work at MGM's Prime Time. We've had him there several times before, and he totally made our dinner. We requested him on our last visit, but was told he had relocated to Whispering Canyon. He gave my girls cute names too, and always tossed a photo album of his family on the table when he greeted guests. I'm glad to know he's still in the World, we'll have to track him down again.

Sounds like you had a great time at WCC. Thanks for sharing with us. We had to cancel a reservation there for this past February because it didn't fit into our schedule at the end of the week. We're going back next February and I've made an ADR for the first night we are there so we won't miss it this time. Hope we get Uncle Dave because he sounds like a lot of FUN. I'm going to keep the "fun" a secret from our DS9 so he'll be surprised I hope. The photos are great. Did by any chance you guys do any character breakfasts while you were there? I'm wanting to make an ADR for one but can't decide which one to do. Anyway, THANKS!

No, we haven't had a chance to do any character breakfasts. That's one reason we're hoping to get free dining in September. My sister-in-law ate at Crystal Palace and really liked it. She said breakfast was fantastic. The characters are Pooh, Tigger and Piglet. My mom is there right now for free dining and I'm waiting to hear her reports on the character meals. I'll let you know. I've also heard that Chef Mickey's is great.

Today we ate breakfast at POP. DH and I each ordered a Bacon Egg & Cheese Croissant. DS1 got a Turnover and DS2 only wanted 2 bananas. We then headed out to MK.

We decided to stop at one of our favorite places for lunch: Columbia Harbour House. Not only is the food great, but it's a great place to just take a break from the crowds. Sounds hard to believe if you've ever walked into the place at lunchtime. What a riot! But not if you sit upstairs. I wonder if people don't know that you can eat upstairs? Because every time we've been, the downstairs is all crazy and crowded and then we go upstairs and it's quiet and empty. One time we even saw a family of like 12 trying to split up the kids and sit in two different areas downstairs. We told them that there were a bunch of empty tables upstairs and they were so grateful. They had no idea they could eat upstairs. It's strange.:confused3

Anyways, we ordered 3 of the Captain's Platters to share between the 4 of us. You get 2 chicken planks, 2 fish planks and fries. DS1 doesn't eat the chicken and DS2 doesn't eat the fish so they share. But then, I always get too full so they finish off mine. The fish and chicken are always hot and crispy here. I don't have any pics, but I'm sure you can find some on the restaurant pics thread. Just look up Columbia Harbour House.

It was the first warm day we had all week, so we left MK early to swim. We stayed in and ordered a pizza from POP. DH and I also ordered 2 pre-packaged salads. They were huge! The bowls are very deep. Very good and fresh, no wilted lettuce considering it was so late in the day. The pizza was ooey and gooey and wonderful! It had a very thick crust (similar to Domino's) and the sauce and cheese went right to the edge. And it was full of hidden Mickeys! Just look at the picture and see if you can spot them.:rotfl: :rotfl:

Great reviews and pics. Glad you had such an awesome waiter at WCC. We have gone twice and neither time was our waiter entertaining. Luckily, we were entertained by others nearby. I sill like to go beause of the atmosphere and food.

We are staying one night at the Pop before moving on to another resort. I don;t know if we will have time to visit the food court but it sure sounds yummy. (arriving late and leaving early)

Did you have the twinkie tiramisu (spell ?)? If so, how was it?

Since we had lunch ressie's, we decided to have a very light lunch: bananas and oranges from POP. We also got a box of Entenmann's Donut Holes. They were so good. A whole box was only $3.59 and it was enough for everyone. They're no Krispy Kreme, but they do taste like kruller's. Very tasty!

We spend the morning at MGM and then went to 50's Primetime Cafe for our lunch reservation at 11:30. It was a chilly morning and I'd been craving some soup, so I was thrilled to see it on the menu. I was even more thrilled to see the Angel Food Cake with strawberries and whipped cream!:cool1:

I usually get extremely full eating here, so I decided to just get the Chicken Noodle Soup and eat a piece of DS2's Fried Chicken, since he gets 3. So that's what we did. DS2 got the Fried Chicken Platter with double Crinkle Fries and a Chocolate Shake. DH got the Fried Chicken with Fries and Macaroni & Cheese. And DS1 ordered the Meatloaf and substituted Macaroni for all the sides. He also got a Chocolate Soda. DH and I both got Cherry Sprites.

The Chicken was crunchy outside and dry on the inside. The Soup was about as average as a bowl of Campbell's Chunky Chicken Noodle Soup (for the same price, I could have bought 4 cans). DH and DS1 liked the Macaroni. DS1 said the meatloaf was okay, but nothing to rave about. The Shake was absolutely heavenly! And my dessert was average. The Angel Food Cake was a little dry, like it may have been frozen. But the berries and sauce were good. As you can see in the pic, I don't eat blueberries.

As for our waiter, well we kind of got a shy guy. He hardly even interracted with us. We had to wait a long time and he kept dissappearing. It took a while just to get a refill. You know, this was our 3rd visit and I think the novelty has just worn off. I'd rather spend our money on a good buffet. It's very expensive to eat here and the food is just not that good.

So, sadly,:sad1: I give 50's Primetime Cafe:

We ended our last night at MK (is there any other way). DH and I each got Corn Dog Nuggets from Casey's Corner on Main Street. DS1 had a burger from Pecos Bill's with a side of Lay's BBQ Chips. DS2 had a Hot Dog. We also stopped in the Main Street Bakery for dessert. DH had a Cherry Turnover. I got a Chocolate Bundt Cake (that was way too sweet). And DS1 had a Chocolate Chip Cookie. DS2 went next door to the Ice Cream Parlor for a Vanilla Cone.

We enjoyed our desserts while waiting for "Wishes". And then :sad1: sadly we headed "home" for our last night.

In the morning, we had Breakfast at POP and flew back to the real world.
"No, you can't have any pizza!"

My middle daughter really wants to go to Prime Time and I soooo don't want to go. I usually don't take reviews too seriously, but when you hear so many lousy reviews it makes you wonder. I have also heard about several dud waiters there. I don't know why you would want to work there if your not playful. Anyway, I guess I'll have to suck it up just this once for DD.
