Over on 2P's people are saying that M's will have their Cricut cartridges for $49.99 next week. Thought some of you might (or might not :rotfl2:) want to know.

There aren't any carts out there right now that I want. I can't wait to see the new Christmas one coming in Nov.

I just got back from Michael's and the cartridges are all $49.99. I don't even own a cricut yet, but I will be getting one soon, so I went ahead and got the Mickey fonts cartridge since the price was so good. I'll probably go back Friday and get another one, anybody have any suggestions? I do a lot of Disney scrapbooking, also kids and sports. So, which ones do you get the most use out of?

I was at my Mikes for page protectors today. Yes the carts are on sale but they have none of the newest ones. I should have gotten the Disney ones but I need to buy the kids winter clothes first. Darn priorities. :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Doodlecharms and the new paperdolls are great for embelishments. And you cant go wrong with the Disney ones!

I picked the Mickey Font cartridge up at W*M last week for around 50.00 - that's their every day price - so, if you miss M's sale - try there. Princesses are next on my hit list - seeing that's what my Hubby calls me :)

question - for those of you with the princess carts - do you have the 'new' bigger cricut or the original one - I don't want to make the investment if it's not going to work on my smaller unit.

TIA!

Honestly, a lot of the cuts are going to be really difficult on the smaller bug. Especially the upright standing princesses because their faces are SO tiny. It makes the lips, eyes and teeth nearly impossible to do. Even on the Expression, some of these pieces are too tiny to deal with. I did an 8 inch Cinderella, but still had to color in the eyes and teeth by hand with a gel pen because they're so tiny. There are still going to be plenty of things you CAN cut on a small bug, but just keep in mind that the standing princesses won't be easy.
