Booked All-Star Movies for 2 nights before our cruise. Still don't have ME luggage tags. Flying out of BUF so I really wanted the tags so I don't have to lug car seats etc thru MCO. Called once about 10 days ago still no tags.
Funny thing is I got my ME stuff for another stay later that month:confused3

We leave tomorrow and no ME tags. We booked thru DU and the agent said that she told them to get them to me, but as of yet not here.

If you booked through Disney Travel, call them and explain. Maybe they can help.

Not sure who to call, but when we booked a last minute trip online (through Disney's website) they sent the ME tags right away - got them 2 days after I booked, sent by a courier. At that point we were still more than 3 weeks away from the trip. So maybe if you call they will send them ASAP.

So I called and they claim they only had part of my address. They were missing the city and province. Not sure how that happened as Disney has my full address and I've used ME before. Anyway they are sending them out express and say it will take 7 days to get to me. May mean my travel partner doesn't get her tags since she lives in another province. You would think someone could have run the postal code and find the city/province once their first delivery attempt failed.

No tags? No problem!
You can still use DME to the fullest extent.
You can stil skip baggage claim. Just go directly to the DIsney Welcome Center (known around here as the DME counter). They'll ask if you tagged your bags, and you'll say no. They ask for your baggage claim ticket numbers, as well as a physical description of each bag. A CM will then be dispatched to go to baggage claim and claim your bags for you. He/she will then bring the bags back behind-the-scenes, print out computerized DME tags for them, and then send them on their way with the rest of the "normal" DME luggage to the Disney luggage sorting facility on the grounds of the airport.
So in other words, even if you don't have your tags you'll be fine. And also, when you check in at the DME counter, they'll give you bus vouchers, too. As long as you have a reservation, then not having the paperwork doesn't matter a bit.
I wandered into this forum by accident. I don't speak Canadian, so I hope you can understand my accent.:rotfl:

We leave in 18 days and still don't have our tags so after reading this thread I thought I would give them a call the CM from the general Disney number said that everything would be fine when I asked her to see if they had been mailed she said I should call ME in the morning she gave me the number which I called right away and got through right away. I asked for them to check to see if my tags had been mailed. She checked and they were not deliverable due to the fact that they did not have a province and country. So got that fixed and they will be mailed out tomorrow. Hope we get them in time.
