We are trying to decide which would be better for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids-10 and 8). We want an outside view and need to know if there is sufficient difference between cat. 8 and 9 on the Disney Wonder.

The only difference between a Category 8 and a Category 9 is the location on the ship. Category 8's are on Decks 5, 6, and 7. Category 9's are on Decks 1 and 2. Be aware that the Deck 1 Category 9's have two small portholes instead of the one giant porthole found on other decks.
