We are planning a 4 day cruise in Nov. and this is our 1st time. I'd like some recommendations for a really good planning guide for DCL. I stopped at Borders the other day, but was unable to find a book devoted to the cruise. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I think there was a similar thread not too long ago. If I remember, there is no book / guide out about DCL only.

A book I would highly recommend is "Cruise Vacations for Mature Travelers" by Kerry Smith. Good general information about cruising and good info about all (or at least almost all) cruise lines including Disney. A lot of good information.

Go to EntropyM's web site (hometown.aol.com/entropym) and download his "Magical Disney Cruise Guide". This is the most comprehensive compilation of unbiased DCL information in a single document. It's available in HTML, Microsoft Word, and plain ASCII text. We downloaded it and read it cover-to-cover.
