Hi Everyone,
We are ar CSR for the next 2 weeks. We checked in yesterday. I just signed up for internet conection for 24 hours, I may get more but so far I got 24 hours.
I will answer anything I can if anyone has any questions.
The weather is pretty good. Not near as hot as I was afraid of. We live in Phila. and I have been here in Disney when it is so hot and humid but it is actuallu pretty nice and not very humid.
We went to M.K this morning and Epcot tonight. The crowds are very low. I was shocked how it is not crowded.
We have the dining plan, it is alot of food. Ate at Le Cellar tonight.
CSR is a huge resort, first time we stayed here. We are in Casistas 1.

P. S. I know people have asked this lately. The mugs at CSR are the CSR Pepper market mugs and not the generic, universal ones they only have the regular size mugs they do not have the big over sized ones.

Do you mind if I ask how much 24 hrs internet runs? Is it wireless and can you purchase it cheaper in longer increments? Thanks. Just got our first laptop and not great with computer stuff.:confused3

In May, we paid $9.99 for 24 hours at CSR. I don't believe it was less for longer increments.

That's exactly right, 9.99 or 9.95 for each 24 hour period.

Are you in a regular room or a suite? We are thinking of going in December and can't decide between 2 standard rooms or a junior suite.
Enjoy your trip!!!!

The suites at CSR are very nice. We were upgraded for free on our honeymoon. It was way to big for just me and my husband, though, because we are never in the room. If you have kids and plan to be in the room a lot, it is very nice.

PammyPoppins- did you request your room location on your reservation or did you get "assigned" on arrival? We will be there in a few weeks and I did request the Casitas for my family group. I just liked the outside facades on Buzz's site :thumbsup2 . But now I have re-thought (is that a word lol) my plan and think maybe connecting rooms for us and my DD's family may be better so if we end up doing a little baby sitting with our DGD we could put her to bed in her room and just have the connectng door slightly ajar. So I guess my question is how much do the CM's try to honor request? (I know it depends on business.) Also, maybe Buzz could answer this one, are there a lot of connecting rooms at CSR ?
Have a great trip!

Hi there Pammy! We are thinking of staying at CSR in May so I have a couple of Questions for you. The first is which building is closest to the main building? My husband has bad knees and cant do alot of walking( and we have decieded to not rent a scooter this time but just rent at the parks) so we need the closest to the food are and the bus stop.
Also are there any cons in your opinion, it looks so beautiful there and I cant wait till May.
Hope your haveing a great time.

Hi - In my opinion - they do honor requests.
We had requested Cabanas and when we arrived - the CM said that our room was not ready (which was fine, it was way before 3PM). He said, "your room is not ready, I want to make sure we get you in the Cabanas because that is what you requested."
I'm sure each CM is different, but I appreciated that very much.

We are in a standard room in Casistas 1. We just ate at the Pepper Market for lunch, it seems a bit more crowded than yesterday but still very manageable.

My youngest daughter has uncontrolled seizures so we went through the Special needs office but when we got here we were Casistas 3 and pretty far down from the map and on the second floor. I told the CM that we really needed first floor with the oxygen and al the medical equipment, she went and got a supervisor and she moved us to Casistas 1 and really close to the Pepper Market. The Supervisor was really nice and I explained the problem and showed her a letter from the neurologist that I had for the GAC pass and she said "I will do the best I can for you", and she did.
Don't hesitate to ask for a supervisor, they are right there at check-in station.

Dear Boundin,
Casistas 1 is closest to the Pepper Market. There are alot of buildings within Casistas 1, we are about in the middle of Casistas 1 and it is only less than a minute walk. The down side is we are not close at all to the Dig ite and even the quiet pool is a bit of a hike. It is a HUGE resort, bigger than I had imagined. We have our own car, drove from Phila, we need a car with our disabled daughter so we haven;t taken any of the buses, but the couple of buses I saw pulling out did not look full.
I would say that wothout the Dining Plan the Pepper market would be very pricey. Large, Large portions but pricey.

I hope I answered all the questions. I may not be back on later today because our daughter is having some seizures today, she is tired and this happens when she is tired.
When we got in today from the Pepper market there was a flyer about the bounce back free dining for next year. There wasn't anything in the room when we checked in but today there was the flyer. It is also on the Resort channel but not alot of details on the resort channel ad like there is in the flyer but it gives the ext. 8844 to call from the room.
I hope I answered everything, you guys were so good to me when I was planning that I wanted to make sure I dropped in and answered your questions.
