There's a new DVC Sweepstakes. Go to the member site and watch the opening screen top for a few moments. Eventually it will turn to a new Cinderella Castle sweepstakes for a night in the castle on 1/28/08.

Just check the box and submit your email address and you're entered. Do it by 10/31/07.

Just to clarify the prize:

ONE GRAND PRIZE WILL BE AWARDED: The grand prize consists of a ONE-NIGHT STAY AT THE CINDERELLA CASTLE SUITE in the Magic Kingdom® Park on January 26, 2008 for the winner ("Grand Prize Winner") and up to five (5) guests ("Grand Prize Guests"). The Grand Prize includes: round-trip, economy class air travel for the Grand Prize Winner and Grand Prize Guests from a major airport near the grand prize winner's residence (as determined by Sponsor) to Orlando International Airport, ground transportation to and from Orlando International Airport and the Walt Disney World® Resort, a four (4) consecutive night stay from January 22 through January 26, 2008 in a two bedroom vacation home at a Disney Vacation Club Resort (as selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion) for the Grand Prize Winner and Grand Prize Guests, dinner for the Grand Prize Winner and Grand Prize Guests at Cinderella's Royal Table on January 26, 2008, photos with Cinderella on January 26, 2008, select snacks and non-alcoholic beverages in the Cinderella Castle Suite, one (1) 5 Day Magic Your Way Ticket with Park Hopper each for Grand Prize Winner and Grand Prize Guests, one (1) welcome gift basket (contents determined by Sponsor), the Disney Dining Plan for each night of the stay for Grand Prize Winner and Grand Prize Guests, one US$300 Disney Gift Card per person for the Grand Prize Winner and Grand Prize Guests, one US$100 certificate per person for the Spa at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort for the Grand Prize Winner and Grand Prize Guests, and a cash prize equal to between US$2,884.00 and US$6,715.00 (between CAD$3,023.62 and CAD$7,040.09) (dependent on the number of actual Grand Prize Guests in attendance with the Grand Prize Winner) to help defray payment of any taxes payable as a result of winning the grand prize.

I am going to win because we are going Jan. 23rd through the 28th so what better way to end our trip than with a castle stay?!!! LOL I thought WOW...maybe I will win since we will be there anyway.

The 22nd is ds's 6th birthday, and the 27th is dd's 3rd birthday! And, we'll be there anyways since we're going on the wonder the 13th, then staying 5 nights at WL Villas.

I just found this today on the site. Sorry, I posted another thread about it too. (Didn't see yours). Wish it was more than one night, and I suspect that by the time they award this thing, there wont be any available rooms in DVC to extend the trip!:eek:

I just entered. I hope a DISer wins this trip. Sounds awesome! I have a trip planned for January 6th-10 but I could be persuaded to turn back around two weeks later for an all expense paid trip and a night in the castle.

A true bummer, since we'll actually be Home around January 26th. We could easily slip away one night from the BWV ....

I just got the "eligibility status" too, and I think Alabama folks are eligible for everything. What gives?

Bummed. We wouldn't be eligible because we will be on a 7-night eastern DCL cruise on the Magic from Jan 19-26 and we wouldn't be able to make the stay because we'll be at sea. Oh well, I do hope a DIS'er wins it...

I think something is just wrong with their website. I already entered and just for jollies decided to see what would happen when I tried again. Usually I would just receive a message that stated that I already entered and couldn't do so again. But this time I got the "not eligible in my state" message. I am in Maryland and we are eligible, thus I can only assume they did some damage to the system during their maintenance. Hopefully, it will be fixed soon.

I tried to enter again and the website said that I had already entered. I didn't enter any information.

I think I disqualified myself by Disney computer screwup.

Oh well, I'll just have to win some other time!
