Who's been to Big River Grille??

I was checking out the AllEars menu for Big River Grille and Brewing Works at the Boardwalk... and it looks quite delicious! :thumbsup2

Especially the Jalapeno Spinach Cheese Dip, and the Grilled Chicken Cashew Salad, and the Chicken Alfredo pasta, and the Chocolate Confusion dessert (which is chocolate mousse with Oreo brownie cake and chocolate chips).

Except, to be honest, I haven't heard much about this place, except a few negative reviews from people who went there at the last minute because they were hungry and staying at the Boardwalk.

Has anyone actually been there recently, and have any reports? :confused3

We enjoy Big River. We like their hamburger and fries, also the Nut Crusted Chicken. Servings are large. The thing we enjoy the most is sampling the beer. Especially the winter and/or holiday ones. We didn't care for the meatloaf. The foods you mentioned sound really good too.

It's not as "themed" as the other Disney restaurants, but you can also sit on the Boardwalk which is very pretty. The decor is definitely like you'd find in a Beer Joint. It does get many bad reviews, but we've always liked it.

We ate there 2005 and thought it was great.We sat out side which was nice since it was the week before Christmas and temps were cool.There were 5 of us so we had an array of items from the menu all of which were tasty.
