Off Property food delivery ?

We are staying at SSR in January and I noticed that they do not have pizza delivery unless I am wrong. My question is can you call and order food for delivery from a nearby business and have it delivered to your room. Will they make it through security?

We had no problem at SSR with PapaJohns .

Some places and some other resorts have you meet them in the Lobby of the main buildings.

You can order the resort delivery pizza at SSR, you'll see the info on one of the TV channels, we did this summer and weren't impressed. I wish that we had known that Papa John's delivered to the resort, that would have been much better --and cheaper!!

We also haven't found greta Pizza anywhere on property.

So now I just call as soon as we hit the Bus and it's only a few minutes wait. I have about 6 different PJs phone numbers ( SSR is 407-477-7777 )from different places we go to alot. If it's a new place I just look it up before we leave on Local.live.

There's a Giavonies' or something like that that is very good as well but DD loves PJs cheese sticks.

ImNoPrince, since you've got info - is there a Dominoes or a Pizza Pipeline? And if so, have you got the phone #'s? if not, if you wouldn't mind posting or pm'ing the numbers for PJ's and the local place you mentioned... I love your idea of having them in your phone to call on your way back to the resort - very smart!

Not sure of the other place but it's highly reguarded by some here on the DIS.
