Is trasportation from WDW to Port Canaveral (for those of us NOT purchasing air as part of the package) included? Otherwise how do we get to the port? Thanks!

Hi kinlaw! You can purchase TRANSFERS through Disney Cruise Line separate from the airfare if you'd like. Round-trip transfers from the airport are $46 per person. :)

There are other options though, that might be cheaper. Renting a car and dropping it off at the Radisson in Cape Canaveral for instance.

Karel,
We are renting and dropping off at Avis. Have you ever rented on the way back? Is it quicker than Disney Bus on the way back to airport?

Undecied as we have early flight, and am thinking renting a car may take longer than hopping a Disney bus.

Yes, it would probably take 30 - 45 minutes longer than using the Disney bus. If time is more important than money, go with the Disney bus.

The DCL transportation staff really added a new level of anticipation and excitement to the trip for my family! The buses are new, shiny, immalculate and comfortable. The "guide" answers lots of questions, the bus drivers are really great, and the videos they show entertain the kids (and grown ups) and get them all excited for the Disney fun to come. The bus driver from WDW to Cape Canaveral really played up the ship, and told us all exactly where to look to catch the first glimpse of the ship while we were still on the highway on our way into Cape Canaveral. His enthusiasm for DCL was infectious, and we all caught Disney fever anew! Also, the first class treatment upon arrival at the Orlando Airport was nice too.
