how bad is the week prior to Memorial Day

Just realized I booked myself for the week prior to Memorial Day (2008). Will be there from Wed-Sun(5/21 - 5/25). Should I change to the week prior?
How bad is it really?

It's been a few years ago, but I pulled my kids out of school and we went the week before Memorial Day. Low crowds and, at the time, cheaper prices as it was a value season. The weather was really nice and not as hot as traditional summer months. It was a smart move for us!

We went this year (May 23-29) and it was ok. The only day that was super crowded was the memorial day at blizard beach but the other days was manageable.

We went this past May the week before Memorial day and it was great! The crowds weren't too bad.. used fast pass sometimes and not a problem there. The best thing about going during that time in May was the perfect weather. I don't think I even sweated.. nice breeze and not too hot. Just perfect. :goodvibes

I went in May '05 --- leaving the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and it was great. Lite to Med crowds, but not too much of a wait on most rides. Soarin and Pooh were the worst.

The Merry Month of May is probably the most perfect time to go. Even if it includes Memorial Day Weekend. The masses of people don't appear until June. I'm sure Saturday and Sunday are a little crowded but it just doesn't seem to be a really popular time of year. I bet Mother's Day weekend is worse.
