Lodge - hand made scrapbook paper and embellishment kits from Eco-Africa. I found 4 different kits - they're $17 per kit - much more than selecting the individual pieces from the Eco-Africa website - but as a souvenir, they're a great deal. I found three in Mombasa in Harambe, and the fourth one, with die cuts of bugs, in Zawadi at AKL.

I also visited mousememories.com. It's a bit of a pain in the neck to get to - Out Osceola Parkway to Orange Blossom Trail. Turn right and follow OBT to 192 (several miles). Turn left on 192 and it's about 2 blocks on left, street is just before the raceway gas station. FABULOUS! LOVED IT!. They sell only theme park, sports and Faith stuff, including some exclusive designed papers. Also a few tools. I met the artist, too. WOW!

Can't WAIT to scrap this trip!

The paper and embellishment kit sounds beautiful. Will keep my eye out for it.


I found out about mousememories.com right after our last trip, I would have loved to have gone just to see what they have. Hmmm, maybe I could commendere Buffy's vehicle in December. Wonder if she would notice................:rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Yeah good luck with that Lisa, since it will be right her in CT. We have to cancel our trip, so if you need MVMCP tickets for 12/18 I have them.

I would love to get the AK stuff though. DH and I are going to buy into AKL-DVC.

Oh NO!:sad1: Are you rescheduling for another time? We come home the 18th :/ otherwise I would have bought them from you.

We stayed in the AKL DVC! I found a few things to complain about, but on the whole, I love it love it love it!

Thanks for the info! :thumbsup2 We are recent AKV DVC purchasers - just waiting for the paperwork! Hoping to make our first trip "home" in April.

As an aside...what were your complaints?? We are sooooo looking forward to being in a 2-bedroom with a kitchenette and laundry! Can't wait until they start/finish the separate building as that looks REAL nice! :)
