Has anyone booked online thru the Disney website for resorts? Just wondering if the same payment rules apply ie: 1 night deposit within 14 days & rest due at check in (room only). Also, can you make payments online with your credit card. Thanks

I have booked a room only reservation online though Disney's site. As I recall we just had to do the 1 night deposit, and we paid the balance when we checked out. However I believe the rules are different for packages and if you are booking less than 2 weeks away.

we booked a package,put the $200 down and paid w/ a cc online for the balance 45 days out. We could have paid in installments online before the 45 days if we wanted to so you should be able to do that with a room only reservation, i would think.

I just booked our March trip and put $200 down. We have to pay up by mid-January, but can pay by installments (minimum $25) until then.

For packaages (ie MYW) the payment terms are the same online, and if you call CRO. $200 due within 14 days, remainder due 45 days before arrival. Some cancellation fees apply if you cancel within 45 days of arrival.


For room only reservations, the payment terms differ. If you book online, one nights payment is due within 14 days, and the remainder is due 45 days before you arrive. If you call CRO, one nights payment is due within 14 days, and the remainder is due upon check in. You can cancel six days before arrival, without penalty (and receive your deposit back).
