First, let me thank everyone for your great responses to my trip reports. They provide me with inspiration to continue writing more. I am working on Episode 5 and expect it will be completed around Wednesday or Thursday. With the little guys, a full time job (Engineer, not a writer!) and night school, I'm a tad busy. For those that have asked, we are expecting a little girl. The boys were disappointed, Mom insists she didn't care, but I'm ecstatic. I'm sure she will be an interesting addition to our next trip to Disney in January.

Thanks again,

Can't wait Joe! Congrats on expecting your daughter. They are a curse on fathers but she'll still be your little girl. Don't make us wait to long for the next one!

Remember, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.

Girls are great...well until they get to be about nine then I think it goes down hill (hormones) Just kidding. Also, having quite a few friends with 3 and 1 I think after wishing for a health baby your wife probably is secretly happy to have a little girl---all my friends were.

I also was wondering if your family realize what WWW stars that they are? Counting the seconds..............to the next episode.

Can't wait to read more! I am really enjoying your reports! As the mom of 2 young girls (4 and 3), I can say that a girl will be a great addition to your home and I am sure your sons will be great big brothers. :)

Congratulations on the princess pending.

I look forward, in a year or two, to a report of her first trip to WDW.

Speaking from first finger experience it doesn't take long for a princess to wrap dad around her little finger.

Here is a Disney tip for a when the princess is the octopus - dresses. Princesses love to dress up at the park.

See what I mean at:

Joe, your reports are so warm and funny. What a wonderful family you have. My children are grown. However, we have grandchildren and meet twice a year at WDW with our children and grandchildren. We have a lot of laughter also.

Thanks for taking the time to write these reports, Joe - have really been enjoying them!

And congratulations on the little girl! We have a 2 yo DD and she is such a joy. We also have a 6 yo DS. We will be back at Disney in May and we are all anxiously awaiting our trip.

My DH is also a (design) engineer and works in Hopkinton. Disney is one place where he will go without an argument.

Congratulations on having a girl!! We had 2 boys first then a girl and boy do the family dynamics ever change. You will love having a little girl with 2 brothers to watch over her and protect her. Congratulations again!

You should seriously consider submitting your total trip report to a magazine or newspaper. Make many copies and send it out, it could be the start of something very successful.

Just to let everyone know, I expect to have the next episode completed on Saturday or Sunday. I'm a bit busy this week and am having a bit of writers block. I was very honored to have my posts placed in the Trip Planning Classics board. I would like to thank all of you for your wonderful comments. I never thought my tales of diapers and laundry would have garnered such interest!

Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe!!!

I just stumbled on your trip reports on the Classics board and read them from beginning to end. (You started posted while we were down in WDW, and I missed this when going through the boards). This is GOOD stuff. And funny. The kind of stuff that makes you snort coffee through your nose if you're not careful when you're reading. I was howling at the Baby poop explosion. Great writing. Will be eagerly waiting for next installment. Forget this engineering stuff - you have fans! Stow the mechanical pencil and hit them keys.

Thanks Joe for writing! I have to tell you I almost did not Post my Trip report since I could never write anything as funny as you! But alas, I did and I even got a few responses. Looking forward to reading the rest of yours! Congratulations on the news of your baby daughter! :)
