Universal Orlando/Islands of Adventure & SeaWorld Swap

This is my first hosting so please let me know if anything seems wacky!

As this is my first time hosting, BernardandMissBianca will be co-hosting with me to coach things along!

Due Date is OCT 21st (I need to receive your elements by this date). I would like to have them mailed back 1 week later.

This swap is open to any swapper!!! Everyone is welcome!!

1. Required:
Elements:You will make one topper plus one element of your choice from the list below. You do not have to let me know what element you choose because sometimes we all get started, get a great inspiration and have to change our elements.
2. There will be only 6 people per group, so you can keep the production small per group! I am going to start with one group of each and will go to two of each if there is enough interest.
3. Packing Instructions - use a Ziploc for each person and put everything for that person into their bag. Please label each bag with your name so we know who made each kit. You‘ll have 6 bags to enclose in the larger (gallon size) Ziploc bag. - be sure to include your name, your DIS name.
4. Mailing Instructions- Mail in Priority Mailer & include $4.60 for postage (stamps or cash) to return your items. Delivery Confirmation is $0.65.
On the outside of your box/envelope please include your DIS name and Swap name in the bottom corner!
5. PM me with your name, mailing address and email address. If you have problems and need to drop out or if an emergency happens (we all know things happen beyond our control sometimes), let me know so we can make arrangements for an angel or other help if needed.
6. Most importantly HAVE FUN!!

Based on feedback on the interest thread, I have decided to just do an everything goes group for Universal Orlando and one for Islands of Adventure – I will gladly add to these if we have interest but it just seemed the most logical way to do it today when I finally got it all on paper. I also set up a separate Suess Landing group for all of us with little ones.

Do you know what you want for suess or play it by ear/general seuss (there is a lot of that all around so that would be fine - I just don't want all the ideas to be taken up when you picked early).

I was at the one in California about 15 years ago so we probably have similar ideas of what's there! And none of these were there then - I think that the studio tour at the time had a lot of the 'rides' that were then at UO.

I just looked on that website and here are things that are similar:

Revenge of the Mummy ride
Shrek 4d
Jurassic Park Ride (it's at IOA and I think different in Florida)
Fear Factor Live
Terminator 2
Animal Actors

Also at UO for everyone's reference:

There are also lots of characters - scooby and shaggy, curious george, dora, jimmy neutron, rocky and bullwinkle, shrek, fiona, donkey, street perfomers (marilyn monroe, blues brothers, more I can't think of!)

At IOA there are characters from Marvel comics (I can find out which if anyone is interested - we have the autographs but the girl in me can't remember who they are besides Spiderman), betty boop, olive oil, popeye, bluto, grinch at christmastime, woody woodpecker and his girlfriend (winnie maybe - have to look) are at either park.

Still some spots left. I deleted the citywalk group since there wasn't any interest.

I am going to keep this open through the end of the weekend then close it and start a progress thread so everyone knows how many items they are making. Right now there is a minimum of 4 in each group and a few are full so it's a good number.
