Hey all, I'm going to start a new thread for this so if you will please post your Theme and book size again. Also please PM me with travel plans as they come up. And let me know when you mail and receive so I can keep track. Also please let me know if you need to step out. If you can't finish a book on time mail it on and we can make arrangements to pick it up at the end.

We will also be holding the November mailing for the holidays. When you receive your book at the end of November you have until Jan 28 to mail again.

Oh and can everyone pick a smilie so I can put your smilie next to who ever has your book.

I don't do surprises at all! First Christmas DH and I were together he was horrified that i squeezed my presents and guessed what they were (my DSis and I ALWAYS did this, so she ended up wrapping loads of old fabric, egg boxes etc. to disguise LP's :rotfl2: )

I am still working on putting my pages together. So to make it easier for marlynnp & Mazda to start working on them, here are my "instructions".

[You may use your own garden, a garden you visited, or photos off the Internet of your dream garden. You may use any techniques you like. You should journal, a little on each page or just one box for all the pages, if you like. You may use up to four pages for your layouts. The layouts do NOT need to match each other. You may be as simple or elaborate as you like. The pages measure 8~1/2 x 8~1/2. Please do not infringe on anyone else’s pages, otherwise, anything goes.
Please fill out the sign in tag completely.
Please be sure to note your name on your layout pages.]

My book has page protectors, so you will just be slipping your pages in. I'm still undecided about the sign in page. I can't make up my mind between tags or folders. I'll probably decide on the tag, because I'm afraid the folders will be too restricted. I want you all to be able to decorate/embellish/personalize your sign in.

Off to bed so I can be up early to work on this.

I really really like Primas. With boys, it seems like it would be difficult to incorporate them into pages. Hence the garden theme for this CJ. I can have a whole book full of lovely Primas. The good thing about page protectors is you can attach the Primas with brads and not worry about the page behind you, it'll be a seperate page. :thumbsup2

I've used loads of primas, and bright pink on pages with my boys - not in their albums, but in more general family stuff, like vacations and Easter. But it is hard to squeeze them in sometimes:rolleyes1

I'm sorry I've been MIA. I'm still in Orlando. My circle journal has been mailed and BF's is almost finished and I have my layout to do it. I'm sorry that I didn't communicate much in the past month or so. Life has been a little crazy. I'm sorry again. I'm working on trying to get everything resolved by the time I get back on Oct. 2 or on that day.

I never send an actual book when doing a circle journal because it's very bulky and it cheaper to ship that way. i'm using a baybox album and they are thick.

I know that on 2peas they post their layouts that do for each other's books. I can't tell if they are posted AFTER the cjs are complete and back to the owner or if it is an on-going thing. thanks Kat. I plan on taking some more pics today and I bought an inexpensive printer from Target to print the CJ pics at home. So hopefully it won't take forever to do. I know what I want to say, I just need to get it down on paper.

I was just wondering if you are going to send yours and Mazda's together when they are done and do a couple months at a time or what is the plan? I can understand it takes awhile to get things to and back from England (especially with the postal strike). I am just trying to plan out what I need to get done and trying to see when I need to plan this in.

Marlynn has hers and mine ready to send (I understand) so that'll give you two to work on. My photos for the "garden" CJ just scraped through before the postmen went on strike so I can start those pages. Marlynn just sends me the tag in a small envie (quicker - slightly :rolleyes1 - when posties are working) then I send her the pages and the tag back. She posts photos on a photo site so i can see what the pages look like. So I'll basically try to get ahead with pages and turn the tags round as soon as they get here - if that makes sense? A tag is quite quick to do, so the idea is I do the tag, pop it with the pages and send it to Marlynn. If things start falling behind Marlynn can do her pages and send the CJ on, and I'll send my pages to catch up wherever the book has got to (or will reach next).

One union has come to agreement, so if the bigger union can also be persuaded back to work things might start (slowly!) moving on Monday :goodvibes

I have more for another time. They make the flat rate boxes slightly smaller than the regular ones and a few things didn't fit when I re-packed.

I have never seen ANY of that stuff except a few of the eyelets!

We tend to get Bazzill and Making Memories stuff in craft shops and online, and Basic Grey, Karen Foster and sometimes Doodlebug, rusty pickles or KI online. I've found somewhere for cats eyes and stickles :thumbsup2 . But we don't get cool packs of stuff often - its all single sheets, and that's way to much work for me :lmao: What, PLAN a page and buy specific stuff:confused3 :lmao: So if its not CM (And we only get 60% of the range anyway!) it has to find me, rather than me coming across it:rotfl: All the online shops are very clever at luring me in to spend money ;) but half the time I've filled my basket and then find what I really wanted after I've checked out:rotfl:

I totally understand. My youngest has pink eye, so we got to go to the doctor yesterday for that instead of school & allergy shots. Than I got to swap & package up the carol swap before lunch.
After dinner, I got slammed with some kind of bug. Puking & massive headache. I don't which was worse. But I'm fine now. How weird? Less than 12 hours. I'm pretty sure it must have been something I ate, because viruses don't act like that.

I would say to just let the tags catch up later. When you get them and are ready to send them let us know and we can tell you who has the albums and should get them at that point.

The "other" tags that talk about the scavenger title are something different then the circle sign in tag. Someone else can write in your items you scavenaged for on the "other" tags.

I have sent on the favorite rides to MP yesterday. Priority with DC, so it should be there Monday.

I need to do the reading one today and then will mail it back to Kat and when she is done she will mail to on to MP.

That was when things were a little backed up and AWM supplied me with the pictures of the books she had so we could stay on schedule.

I received momx3boys book.

Mazda ~ you have a package on the way. It has an envelope in it from a secret someone :rolleyes1, a little easter surprise from me and a sign in page from momx3boys' book so that you can complete the tag. I will get pics of the book up later this weekend
