Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Shelly, Mom of 2 kids living in NJ. I'm happy to have joined this board because I'm planning to take the kids to Disney in April. During our stay this will also be my DDs 4th Bday so I want to make it extra special for her. I'm not new to Disney as I grew up going there on family vacations every summer but this is the first time I'll be going with my two kids and their father. I'm so excited that words can not even explain. So I will be on this board frequently to help me plan our trip!

You'll get lots of planning tips here - I'm learning something new each time I visit the boards. When are you going in April? We're planning an April trip too - it's beautiful there especially after a long cold winter.

You will LOVE the information shared at this site! I have been researching here for the past couple of months for first time tri this October and it has been really helpful.

Be sure to spend time exploring the "Theme Park Attraction and Strategies" section/tab (I'm not sure what to call it). The thread there called "Pay it forward" can help you get a board member visiting the park the month before your trip to send your kids a postcard from a character saying they can't wait for their visit LOL

I also found allears.net and mousesavers.com helpful.

What a great time to be going for your daughter:) Breakfast with the Princesses would be a great way to start her day:) Then to bibidi bobidi boutique would a mid day celebration then to watch the fireworks over the castle would be a fantastic ending for her birthday:) Yahooooooo
I know what you mean about being excited, I have 333 days until I arrive with my 8 year old great nephew. I think he is excited now, but I can't wait to sit down with him and make our plans:) We will be staying at the ALL Star Sports:) You and your family have an awesome time and blessings to each of you:)
