Spoiled from all the trips to the Polynesian and watching the fireworks nightly from the room, pool and beach - here comes the big question I am already prepared to hear no to. Is there anywhere "on land" around the WL grounds you might be able to "take in the show" ?

If not, looks like a well timed MK boat trip will be in order - hehe

If you walk out on the beach where the volleyball net is between the villas and the lodge, you can partially see them, altho they're blocked by trees.

It just occurred to me that you might could walk out on the boat dock at the lodge and get a better view.

I have heard a rumor that there are some rooms that you can see the fireworks from. I don't think you can see them from the beaches anywhere, at least we didn't. The water pageant does stop right in front of VWL and the beach is a great spot to watch from, I think there are fireworks cruises available.....

You have a partial view from the dock. Quite a bit is blocked by trees; you see the higher ones.

I doubt that you can see any fireworks from any of the Villa's but I know you can see them from the parking lot near the entrance to the WL. Not a very romantic setting but fun nontheless.

I think WL will block any views the VWL rooms might have of the fireworks.

We have stayed on the 5th floor of the WL on the MK side and have been able to view fireworks a little above the tree lines. But you can't see the castle or anything else, so frankly, it's not much to look at IMHO.

Now the electrical water parade....that's very cool and comes right past the WL!
