? on kids program

Does anyone ever NOT check their child into the kids club? My 9 year old son is very shy and introverted. I am thinking he would have a better time with us. What would he be missing? Thanks.

I wold probably check him in just in case. He does not have to shoe up even once. He may look at the Navigator and decide that making flubber sounds great.
