My Points Questions

How exactly do you do My Points? Can you earn points there without buying stuff? I have tried it and can't figure it out. I earned the points for visiting the websites, but there are only 6 sites and you can only visit them once. A lot of people seem to like this program, but I just don't get it. Help.

You can also get points by visiting websites off e-mails you will receive. If you get bonus mail from them, go to the bottom of the e-mail and it will say something like -- get 200 points for registering with ... and 5 points just for visiting this website. If you click on the green button that says show me, you will go to that website. Sometimes you will get 1 or 2 emails a day, sometimes none at all. It really varies!

Also, they have a "mascot" named Max. Check this board daily to find out where he is hiding (and if he's hiding--he doesn't appear every day). He hides in one of the shopping categories. Click on Shopping on the left hand side of the homepage for mypoints -- then you can choose a category: automotive, gifts, toys/games, etc. If he is hiding out, usually someone posts on this board where they found him. Go into whichever category they say and you should see a red triangle with arms and legs and a smile on his face. :) Click on him and it will say "Congratulations! You have just earned 5 points." Or something to that effect!

Just a quick THANK YOU for the explanation of My Points! I'm a newbie, and slowly going through the rewards board before I actually get started on all of the programs. So far, I've noted 22 programs, and it's a little mind-boggling!
