Planning a family vacation on the "Wonder" for 4 nights
in April 2008 with 2 adults and 2 teens...I understand that
catagory 6 has "some" staterooms that could accomadate
the four of us.
Can anyone, who's been in Cat-6, pass along your personal
experience in said catagory? I'm curious about this so
called "Murphy Bed" as a fourth bed...where is it located
within the room and "PIX" of it would be a tremendous
help!
Any other info on the Wonder's 4-night cruise would also
be of interest.
It's our family's first cruise...want to do it right!
Thanks!!!

The fouth bed in a Cat six folds down from the ceiling. I believe you need to go to a Cat 4 Deluxe Family stateroom to get the murphy bed and a slightly larger cabin.

Here is some info from these boards:

You can click on those pictures to get an idea. The drop down bunk bed is in the ceiling over the couch.

Catagory 6 does not have a murphy bed. The only non-suite catagory with a murphy bed is Cat 4. In that case the murphy bed is up against the veranda doors.
The interior of the rooms for Cat 10 thru Cat 5 is the same. There are two twin beds that can convert to a queen. One sofa that converts to a twin and one pull down bed that come from the ceiling above the sofa. (creates a bunk bed look when made up for sleeping)

Some CAT 6's sleep 3, some sleep 4. If you have 4 in your party, they would not book you in a stateroom that sleeps only 3. The only difference is the bunk that folds down from the ceiling ... both have the convertable couch.
We have only 3 in our party, but we booked a CAT 6 that sleeps 4 because our DD11 likes to sleep in the upper bunk. Last year we had a CAT 6 that sleeps 3 and she missed having the upper bunk.

Ditto for us. DS11 would be extremely dissapointed if he could not sleep in the upper bunk. Cabin #6548 has it, in case anyone needs a "for sure." We are sailing in that cabin for the second time next month.
