port area hotels

I know we have a long wait until next Jan. but we have decided to go down to the Port Canaveral area a couple of days ahead of time (instead of WDW) and visit the Space Center, etc. We want the pleasure of beachfront so I know we won't stay at the Radisson. So, of the options on Dave's site, that are $125 or less,
which is the nicer of the beachfront properties?? We would love to see the Wonder sail away on Thurs. night before we leave on the Magic on Sat. Can you see this from any of the beachfront motels??

We have info on Doubletree, Holiday Inn, Cocoa Beach Oceanside Inn, etc.

Just let me know if any of you have stayed places other than the Radisson (which I think is overpriced for not being oceanfront).

We just returned from the Feb 3 Wonder and stayed at the Hampton Inn Cocoa Beach the night before. It was great! We had a room for $69 including a fabulous continental breakfast. They had a very large selection at breakfast. The staff was superb and the beach is a mere 100 yards from the hotel pool. I highly reccommend it!
