I would love to see some pictures of finished cliboards! :cool1: I am planning on making my daughter's very soon and would love to get inspired by all you crafty people out there. I read through the Clipboards 101 post and saw those. I do have one question...do you do one side at a time with the modge podge....for example...do the front side first and when that is dry do the back side? Or do you do the whole thing at once...if so...where do you put it to dry without messing it up?
Thanks and can't wait to see those pics!!

This was my first attempt at making a clipboard, it is for my cousin who teaches fourth grade. I was pretty happy with it, I just hope she likes it.
I used the new BG Recess line which I LOVE! The letters were made with my Cricut- Base Camp Cart. The clipboard was purchased at Wal-Mart for $0.96! Need to pick some more of those up. I used Modge Podge, 3 coats (could probably just do 2), doing one side at a time, it dries fairly quickly. I attached the paper with a thin coat of MP and used another adhesive on the bus die cut, this caused some bubbling of the paper when applying the top coat of MP, next time I will use only MP.
Now I need to try making some Disney clipboards.

I alternated sides. I would paint the front, let it dry, the do the back. Over and over. That way I remembered how many coats I had done and they were the same.
