This may sound silly, considering all the food on board why would you want to save somefor later? But what if you see a really really good dessert you want to try, but it just isn't going to fit? Can you request it to go so you can enjoy it later, like on the deck?

I don't see why not. My DD spent nights not eating because she was sick and our server insisted we take it back to the room. One night our whole family did not dine, but our server sent dessert to our room with our tablemates cuz he knew how much we all loved dessert!!!!

Yes you can request it to go and they will cover the dessert and even provide you with a "real" fork to take back to your room. Just put the empty plate and fork outside your door and they will pick it up just they do room service.:smooth:

Actually, one night I wanted strawberry shortcake. It was only at AP that night. So after our dinner (first seating), around 9pm, I walked in, found our waiter, and walked out with it on a plate :)

One night, I just could not finish my dessert (they should serve it first:D ). I asked if I could get a cover to take back to our room. Our server came back with a brand new serving for us to take. We ended up combining the two servings taking it all back to our room for later. It was a great midnight snack on our verandah:D

One afternoon I really wanted a Mickey ice cream bar and I just walked into Lumiere's and asked for one to take back to my room. They gave me a covered plate and everything.
