Great planning journal so far. I am from NJ too but live in PA now. We had our reception at ADH, you will love it. IT was amazing, so much better than a boring ballroom in my opinion. Good luck.

Great job so far! I really like Tampa even though I've only been here for a few weeks. I think the store on say yes to the dress is Kleinfeld's. I went there with my best friend to look for her wedding dress and even though everything was beautiful, we both thought that it was really overpriced and the salesladies looked at us like we had two heads when we said that we didn't want to spend thousands and thousands of dollars on a dress, so if you can't make it out there, I don't think you'll be missing much... (though, maybe you'll get on the dress show and then we can all watch you :happytv: )
And hey! If you need an extra person to come dress shopping I'm always available! Can't wait to hear more

Love the PJ so far!!
Go with the Belle dresses for the girls. It's YOUR day, so it should be how you envision it. :thumbsup2

My friend and Maid of Honor was in town for a wedding. It was really nice to see her. We went to pick out the bridesmaids dresses. This was the original dress I had pick but then I kept going back and forth and finally when it was on my friend that was the dress. We ordered in on the stop because it was being discontinued. Now I called my other bridesmaid who lives in our home state (NJ both girls in my wedding I have know since 7 years old). She finally calls back and leave a voice mail that she is not ordering until fed and wants to order in NJ. Ok this is after for her wedding we had to order them all together from a dress shop out of state. Since it was a mermaid dress it didnt not fit me right and i end up spending over 200 in alteration plus 226 for the dress and she is giving me a hard time about spending 200 for the dress and shoes just because she doesnt have time to run to a dress shop and she it. I didnt run to a shop to see her dress. I just got my mearsuments and called the shop. Now to its not a money thing with her. She has makes 6 figures and just got married so 200 is nothing. but anyway had to vent.
Here is the dress.

The shoes I dont have a picture of but they are sliver heels with diamonds on them.
The flower girls dresses are the cinderella dress that you buy at the park. Shane's twin sisters are the flower girls. They will be turning 3 a week after the wedding. (They are from a 2nd marriage.)
Now I had gotten my dresses and was super happy until I saw 3 other girls on here with the same dresses. I went to a bridal shop here in tampa that is very well known. And its a place were they only have one of each dress. They buy it from the designer at a discounted price. Kinda like an outlet. My dress had some beading that was loose but the bridal shop fixed it for free.
Anyway, I picked it up and its in my closet. There are actually pictures of it on the previous page.
We booked out photographer and sent the deposit. We are going with Root Photography. I'm very happy with that.
We have our planning session in april so I plan on getting our engagement pictures then as well.
Nothing else new. We went to Disney World twice since we got our passes. It was fun but the first time it was only in the 50s and i ended up really sick with a sore throat and out of work for a week. Then the 2nd time I got a bad cold and headache. I dont know what it is.
Anyway, disney is so beautiful at xmas.

Hi Renee!
I was wondering if you ever decided on getting the Mets grooms cake for your DF or not? After you mentioned it, I looked online to see if I could get any idea for what I wanted the cake to look like. I managed to find a few things asked my planner if she could get me a quote for the cake. Let me know if you're still interested. I'll send you what I found.
