Hiya,
We are leaving on Saturday for our first trip home.
We are working on our shopping list and need to know what size coffee filters we should by for the coffee maker.
Thanks!!!
Cindy

Thank you so much for reminding me of the same question, we just returned last week but I forgot to check the size.
I hope someone has that info.

The standard Mr. Coffee filters will work in all the coffee makers that we've run into. We usually buy the filter "packs" that have the coffee sandwiched between filter material. That way you just drop one or two (or three!!!) into the filter basket.

We used # 4 round filters in our studio at BWV last year.

After staying in a studio and in 1br's I have discovered that the studio coffee makers take the small round filters and the 1br's take the large round filters (aka as basket filters as opposed to cone filters). It is possible to use a large filter in a small pot...you just have to smush it in a little and it puts you more at risk of grounds in the coffee since the sides can fold in easier.

We also use the coffee filters with the coffee already in them. For a studio we use one or two, for a 1 bedroom or above we use two or three. Just depends on how much of a kick we need that morning! :D
They're really not that expensive, and I find them much easier to pack - just throw a bunch in a zip lock bag and squish it into the suitcase! Much better than a can of coffee grounds.

hi: just another vote for a prepackaged coffee/filter combo. we never even pack them, just pick them up at the grocery store on the way in. pricing at albertson's is very close to what we would pay at home. another easy to pack item is the laundry tablets. they work just fine.
