i'm just wondering.......

who using a laptop??????

i'm thinking i want to buy a laptop so i can "dis" where ever i want to. my computer is an old hp and i think maybe with my xmas $ i'll buy a laptop. so curiosity got the best of me and i starting thinking how many other people are using a laptop. sometimes i feel like i'd like to be sitting in the same room with my men while they are watching tv.

i wish i knew how to attach a poll on here, but i've never done that.

edit.....figured out the poll thingy!!!!

I just have a desktop. I would love a laptop, but I could never quite justify spending the money for a new computer when I don't really "need" it. I couldn't quite imagine only having a laptop - I'd be greedy and want to have both!

I use a PC with a flat screen. I am pretty happy with it that way, the computer is no longer on the same table as my scrapping and I seem to get lots more done with them separate.

I have a lap top and a desktop (well, on the floor) PC with a flat screen. My laptop is very slow and the PC is technically for my new job. :)

I have both a laptop (Fujitsu) 15" and a desk top with flat screen monitor. When my desk-top goes, I will stick solely with laptops in the future. I use my laptop most of the time since I can take it anywhere, and I use it a lot in the family room. I hat being confined to my office!!

I use PC format now, but I started out my computer life with Macs, and had both desktops and a laptop. If I could, I would switch back to Mac without hesitation, but I have to use PC format for work documents and I do all my work reports at home.

I have both. The laptop is provided by my job but I can use it for personal things as long as I don't do anything unethical (like download porn!). I tend to use my PC more but I like having the option of the laptop. My one problem with the laptop is that I need a mouse - go ahead, laugh at me, my dd does.

I have a compaq desktop and two compaq laptops....I think I still have a gateway laptop around here somewhere but since it is not wireless, I am not using it.

I feel spoiled.

I have a laptop upstairs and one downstairs. The desktop stays in my office so I can do my job that pays the bills.

Yep.. the only laptop we have is for DH's work...but our computer is in the dining room so that we have access to oversee the kids... this myspace stuff freaks me out.. I'd rather be proactive..give my kids a little room but have them worried because I'm within distance to ask questions! :)

Mac laptop here. I LOVE it!!!!! Never, never make me use a PC again. Terrible, horrible, virus infected things. My Mac always runs, no matter what I do to it, and it has great video and photo tools on it.

Laptop here....the IL's got us a Dell E1505 for Christmas last year and I love it! Of course, I've become extremely lazy....sitting on the couch, playing on the internet while I watch the kids play.

I'm on a Dell Inspiron laptop and we have a Dell desktop (flat screen monitor) upstairs. The laptop allows me to be with my family while I'm with you all! :thumbsup2

I have both. I like my desktop, with flat screen for when I am at home and doing serious posting and things. It is on my desk in the dining room.

DH just bought me a laptop a few weeks ago and I love it! I spend a lot of time at the YMCA while the kids are at swim team practice and they have wireless, plus we can use it when we travel. DD will be able to use for homework while her sister is at practice and I can surf the net if I am sick in bed! Even just to download the photos from our camera it will be a huge use.

I am not as comfortable using it for serious posting, but that is just cause I am not used to the keyboard and touch pad yet. I do like to be able to relax on the couch and continue to DIS while hubby is watching TV--we feel like we are spending quality time together!

I spend tons of time on my computer. I do a lot of things on and off the net. It is also great to be able to have it at my scrapbooking desk because I do a lot of my journaling in Word.

I'm sitting in my recliner with my laptop using wireless internet access. It is definitely the way to go!

I have a desktop with a flat screen as well as a toshiba laptop but I mainly use the desktop and DH usually uses the laptop, actually with my brother here now we have 2 of the toshiba laptops but one of them is his and i haven't ever even sat down at it. We also happen to have an extra laptop that DH is using to play with the linux operating system but it was one they were getting rid of at work and he claimed. I don't usually dis while I am away but we generally do take the laptop in case DH has to remote into work.

Laptop here. I've been with a laptop for over 6 years now and I'll never go back to a desktop. I love the portability!
