I just booked our fall cruise and did not purchase the insurance. I'm really not sure if I should. I think it will be just hubby and I. What do you folks think?

We aren't purchasing the insurance for the 99$ cruise, although we did for the $$$$$$ more costly cruise in January!
DH says "Send me your 50$ and I'll pay for your cruise if you can't go"..........(but the catch is we go in your place)...ha ha
Really though, I have a little concern but just don't think it will be cost effective IF your medical insurance will cover you for any unforeseen problems during the cruise.
Have a good trip, kackie

If we decide to go, no I won't purchase the insurance. We have been to the ships doctor on both our cruises and our medical plan reimbursed us for the costs.

Thanks for all the replies. It didn't seem cost effective to me either but I tend to be overly cautious :).
Thanks again.

I did purchase the insurance. I've already had to cancel one trip unexpectedly and if I hadn't had the insurance I would have lost my $.
Just my .02 worth ! (I tend to be the cautious type, too!)

Since the trip (for 2) only cost $250 with the voucher - how does it pay to purcahse insurance?
