Have I got the best rate I can get?

I'm going on the Magic western Caribbean cruise sailing October 12 this year. Booked it when western Caribbean was first annouced. While on the Magic this past October, called and got a lower rate and $200 on-board credit.

I thought I read previously on this board that rate given while on Magic or Wonder is the best you can get -- no further discount of any kind. Is that true?

So far, yes! Even with the repricing of certain fall cruise sailings (in lieu of a Fall Fantasy promotion) the onboard booking rate still is cheaper than the lowest early booking savings. But do check your current pricing for your cruise date to be sure you are getting the best rate; never hurts to check! :)
