Movies change as new Disney-branded movies are released in theaters.

Here's some DCL publicity, quoted at http://wdwig.com/hnews.htm#653
Disney's Return to Never Land Premiere (Feb. 15, 2002) --
The Disney Cruise Line tradition of premiering first-run films
and animated classics to shipboard guests the same day
they are released in theaters nationwide continues. Disney's
first shipboard movie debut in 2002 will be Disney's Return
to Never Land aboard the Disney Wonder on Feb 15.
Aside from Return to Never Land (http://disney.go.com/disneypictures/neverland/index.html), the only other Disney-branded movie that's opening between now and the beginning of April is The Rookie (http://disney.go.com/disneypictures/rookie/index.html), starring Dennis Quaid. It opens in theatres on March 29, so I suppose there's a chance it could also open on the last night of the March 23 Disney Magic cruise (but I wouldn't count on it).

DCL also shows some movies from other Disney-owned brands, such as Touchstone, Hollywood Pictures, Miramax, and Dimension. When Pearl Harbor (Touchstone) opened in theaters, it also opened at sea on DCL.

I'm surprised that DCL shows non-Disney movies -- such as Cats & Dogs (Warner Bros.) in the Buena Vista Theater and Shrek (Dreamworks SKG) on TV in the staterooms -- but it's nice to know that DCL is willing to include some non-Disney movies if such movies would appeal to DCL passengers.

Enjoy the March 23 cruise!
